Tell us about this KS Democrat that the media is toutng as the likely next governor. The media is saying that the new GOP gubernatorial candidate is "too conservative," even for KS, which usually elects "moderate" governors. Sam Brownback is seen as a KS aberration.

The demo candidate in KS for Governor is a woman, Kathleen Sebelius. She has been Kansas Insurance Commissioner for the past seven years.

I'm sure she will appeal to the soccer mom crowd and we are in store for ads telling us how Shallenberger, the conservative, will put their children "at risk" (i.e. no tax increases) and anti-gun rhetoric. In other words, the usual democratic fear mongering on issues.

Conservatives will have to work hard to get a share of the female vote.
