You aren't planning another visit here soon, are you? I understand this new swimming with the sharks attraction is expected to be quite popular.

Of course, one can only fantasize about a group of lawyers falling into the tank with sharks. Ah, the sharks wouldn't attck ---- professional courtesy.

You think this was a potential bloodbath... just wait until the sharks, I mean lawyers, get ahold of the people.

The Aquarium of the Americas is a GREAT attraction. The tank these folks fell into is really just unbelievable, for an aquarist like me a day here is a day in heaven.
Last time I went I noticed some stingrays with big, crescent-shaped bite marks on them. I asked about it, and was told, "Those are from the last time there was a feeding frenzy in the tank. Luckily no divers were in there when it happened, but that hasn't always been the case."

The platform they were standing on is used by keepers to feed the sharks and is not usually open to the general public, Lee said. And was not designed to hold up a crowd of people. The aquarium knew this but wanted the extra dollars generated from the private after hours tours. I hope they sue their a$$es off.

Oh ma gosh, what a rush. They have a glass plate, a circle in the floor you can stand on and look right down into the sharks at that aquarium. I wouldn't let my son stand on it because I'm so over protective.
I would have had to learn to fly real quick if I took a sudden dunk in that huge tank.

This is right out of my worst nightmare, I'm not afraid of much but the shark is at top of that list.

I once had a "close" encounter with a 10-12 ft. Tiger shark on a night dive. I don't think my adrenalin has ever been pumped that high since...

Staffers at the aquarium are trained to deal with emergencies like this one, Lee said, and reacted quickly to the chaotic scene, pulling people from the waters using nearby flotation devices. "They knew exactly what to do and they did it," she said.
Thank goodness for their emergency training. I never would have thought of tossing in some life preservers.

But...but...what about the sharks? Are they okay? Do they need psychological counselling? The trauma...the trauma!
What did the President know and when did he know it?

The accident happened while members of the aquarium were on an after-hours behind-the-scenes tour. The platform they were standing on is used by keepers to feed the sharks and is not usually open to the general public, Lee said. Shouldn't there be a "here, hold muh beer" alert for this article's title?
