It is possible that she is just incredibly dumb and has been indoctronated by our enormously successful publik skuls.

While that is possible the impression I got from the article is that she was just another clinton sychophant trying to earn her kneepads. I can't believe the prof would have wrote her off until she proved to him that she wasn't going to hear anything he said anyway.

Better to convince them that they are simply wrong, and that there's a better way, than to dismiss them as evil - conservatism, no matter the party appellation, is already a minority viewpoint in this country, and I see no need to marginalize ourselves further by abandoning the tools of reasoned discourse intended to persuade others to accept your point of view. Those firefighters and police are, almost to a man, registered Democrats, but in their hearts, they are natural conservatives. Telling them they lack moral fiber only serves to drive them away, when we should be embracing them as our own...

I agree with you entirely. But note that I wasn't talking to the typical union democrat but to the conservative in a forum where the only democrats we see are the brain dead and unchanging democrat zombie types.

When in discussion with democrats (I have a family full of them) I speak in a far gentler more educational way, in the remote hope that one of them, just one, might open their eyes and see. Until they do however, I still regard them as being equally culpable. (Of course I don't treat them that way unless they prove to be totally closed to reason)

Please never reply to me again, and I'll make it a point never to try and engage you in meaningful political debate. You, sir, are beyond the pale.

Apparently you disagree with my reasoning but have not yet told me why. You simply call me names and run away. How can we have a meaningful political debate if you refuse to address my points?

If you support clinton, as this young woman obviously did, then you agree with everything that he did to this country and the way he did it. If this is your litmus test, how can you possibly support any candidate for anything?

(I'm assuming you mean that supporting a candidate means supporting all his positions as my litmus test)

It's pretty tough I tell you. First I never support any democrat. I never support anyone who is not pro-life. Fortunately I come from a very conservative area and have been blessed with good representation. My Rep used to be Hostettler but they reorganized me into Steve Buyer's district. Both good strong Christian conservatives.

You certainly develop strong opinions based on simply a newspaper article.

This is true. Sometimes I can even be a bit premature at it

Have you ever found yourself to be wrong in your initial impression?

Sometimes. Never when it comes to clinton supporters though.

I can imagine it is difficult.

1. I didn't "call you a name," I wrote that you were beyond the pale.
2. You didn't make any points. You spouted banal generalities, the tone of which made it quite clear to me and to others who contributed to this thread that you were not a person worth engaging.
3. Only the biggest fools on the planet demonize their "enemies." Think about it.

>>>Too many times we think the courts will fight our battles.

Social engineering has produced a culture of "victimhood." Personal responsibility has been swept under the rug in favor of a point-the-finger-of-blame mentality.

From lawsuits for coffee served too hot, to the minions screaming for reparations.... someone else is to "blame" for our problems; and I suppose cold hard cash always makes things 'better.' Baloney!

I stand corrected. You did not call me names you merely insulted me. Why? If you don't like my stand either tell me why or ignore it. There's no reason to insult me.

2. You didn't make any points. You spouted banal generalities, the tone of which made it quite clear to me and to others who contributed to this thread that you were not a person worth engaging.

You obviously weren't paying attention. Let me try again. The mere fact that someone supports the democrats makes them equally guilty of the crimes of the democrats. I hold all the clinton sycophants equally guilty of clinton's treason in selling our secrets to the chinese. I hold the supporters of the democrats equally guilty in the murder of the unborn and the destruction of the family.

Are there democrats that are good people on the surface? Probably, but their continued support of evil makes them guilty of anything that evil does. I am aware of no position taken by the democrats that is good for this country.

3. Only the biggest fools on the planet demonize their "enemies."

I didn't 'demonize' them. I simply pointed out truth. 911 happened because clinton didn't get obl when sudan offered him to us. clinton was soft on crime and terrorism and just about any other justice issue. Clinton was in office because people voted democrat. The voters who supported the democrats are equally responsible for clinton's crimes. If they didn't vote democrat 911 would have never happened because clinton would not have been given 8 years in office to destroy our security. Pointing this out is not demonizing anyone.

And you, sir (barf), are an ASS.

Did I call you names? Did I insult you at any time? The only people I insulted are the clinton supporters. Did you vote for clinton? If not, why did you feel the need to attack me personally? If you have a problem with my stand then attack the idea, not the person.

In the 4 years I've been posting here I've seen thousands of 'presidential knee pad' type remarks. It is still a valid way to describe clinton supporters. These are people with no morals or no brains. The young woman in question obviously is a die hard clinton supporter. She has commited whoredom in her defense of the indefensible.

I will admit that calling her a slut may have been a little over the top. But seeing as she is supporting clinton (still) the odds are that her sexual morals line up with clinton's.

Any one who calls themselves democrat is still supporting the destruction of my country. Whether that destruction happens by government regulation or by terrorist attack it's the same thing.

Mr. O, you wouldn't by any chance be that fella in the Broward County Poll Workers training video, would ya?

I'm unfamiliar with a poll workers video. What was it about? (I've been in a small anti-abortion dramatic film but nothing else taped)

I would have done that. I could've used the extra money. After all, what the guy was saying was essentially true. (While all democrats are not communists, they are all enemies of this country. Some of them just don't realize it yet. When they do they either become truely evil or change parties)
