His personal e-mail server wasn't working, so he sent his critical message on his company's e-mail systemAnyone believe this sorry excuse ? He should be fired for lying. The one day happens to send an e-mail to the congressman is a day when his personal e-mail server isn't working.
So what does he do ? He copies a poorly and hastily written note over to his work computer ? Sure he did. At least admit to the truth when your caught red handed.

Did I miss something? Where does it state in the article that Congressman Thomas had anything to do with his firing? My gosh, this guy really is a piece of crap! He thinks that highly of himself! UGH! I'm glad he was fired!

YOU did it to your family and your career. Everyone has the right to free speech... but not on the company's e-mail system. That is absolutely right. The idiot self-selected, performed an act of economic Darwinism, against himself. If it weren't so hilarious, it would be pathetic.

"Critical message ? Of course it was ;) .. What a dork , lol !"LOL....I doubt our crusading Progressive" writer meant it that way, but....GOOD ONE.

Here's the outrageous part.
The Los Angeles Times employs people like this throughout their pressroom.
Like other media pimps, they have one mission in life: to elect Democrats. It's what they do best.
So some little twerp got fired. So what. He'll end up working on some San Francisco paper. It doesn't change the fact of left wing control of the media one bit.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

For now, the father of two young children is worried about his future. I'm sure he'll find a job with a Dem politician or with a a quasi-government organization that "helps people" with taxpayers' dollars. If all else fails, he can always get on the government tit.

You needed to get to the Weekly part? L.A. did it for me.

You know, this article is a liberal's dream. Under the guise of reporting on this loser's firing, they can publicize their anti-Republican propaganda. They create a victim and get to slander the Republicans in one fell swoop. I'm sure they love it.

There is an angle here that hasn't been mentioned yet.
The LA Times probably has and most certainly would be the first to raise hell if a congressman's aid used federal computers to send s similara rant to a newspaper for a missapropiation of public assets.
To: KellyAdmirer
he implied that his employer approved of his comments (which would be a much bigger news story than this).hehehe. Yeah, that would be huge news. (/sarcasm)

Sometimes I read the LA Weekly when I am sitting in an arcade eating a yogurt. It is free and stacks of them are available next to the bench. It is always just a bunch of liberal whining. Note the author's description of the poor reporter not letting the Congressman "get away with it." Nothing biased about that. </sarcasm>

from the sound of his letter he's too stupid to do anything but journalism. Well, if his stupidity is terminal, he can always turn to teaching.

All I can say is, reporters aren't supposed to do this kind of thing. Basic standards of ethics and professionalism demand his immediate removal from the job. I pity anyone who's already 37 but still so stupid.
To: ArcLight
Fired? For this? Absurd. He shouldn't have done it on the company's computer, but he should have been given a good yelling-at, nothing more. In effect he sent it on Company letterhead. You do not do this. It implies that you speak for the company and your employer can end up in some serious hot water.

Thou shalt not embarrass thy boss who signeth thy paycheck. That thy employment may be long and thy vacation time ever increasing

I thought it was a regular part of criminal pleading;
Your honor my client is pillar of the community, a regular church-goer, a family man from a family of family men, a business leader with no record of criminal wrong-doing. All this should count for a great deal despite the fact that he stole 300 million dollars, forced the closure of a large corporation, put thousands of people out of work and looted their pension fund.

So if Bartcop is "hilariously irreverent", I don't think we have to ponder too long in order to figure out where in the thesaurus Johnny Angel would look in order to describe FR - I'm guessing "viciously bigoted", myself...

What shows through most in his e-mail
caper is abject HATRED of Republicans,
period. Yes he was at the LAT, yet....
This is so beyond the pale to do. He
knew not to do it, but his HATRED was
out of control. Bill Thomas(& staff)
are tough guys--bravo to them for not
sitting there & taking it!
