BRIAN ROBIN LIKES TO PERUSE THE HILARIOUSLY irreverent, progressive Web site Bartcop.com Um, progressive = communist. Just thought I'd clear that up. They just can't say it, can they?
Communism equals murder. Everywhere. Always.

Brainfart is an understatement. Come to think of it, you can't get a fart from a hard vacuum.

"I would love to be able to confront Bill Thomas and ask him why he or his staff are so thin-skinned and ask them why they did this to my career and my family. And I'd also like to ask them if they'd have contacted the Times if the e-mail had been some complimentary thing. All I did was exercise my right of free speech, and it got completely blown out of hand."
As they say on "Seinfeld": That's a shame.

This is so right. Hatred spews out of his email.

Not when you do it on your boss's computer.

It sounds like Brian Robin is up for the Darwin Award. The L.A. Times didn't mind that he was incredibly anti-Republican (practically a job requirement at the L.A. Times) but objected to the fact that he would be so clueless as to display his bias in so public a fashion. The warning that the L.A. Times is sending out here is to be much more SUBTLE in displaying your bias. However, you can bet that most of the other reporters over there have the same opionions as Robin....they are just more subtle about expressing them.
