In a related story, I want California to fall into the ocean.

Give California back to Mexico.

If we have to, INVADE Mexico, and MAKE them take California back. Bye Bye 56 Democrat EV.

Tax Guzzlers have more excuses than a pregnant nun, and the Lead Menace in CRT glass is as good an excuse as any.

I am observing this on my new LCD flat screen monitor-The prices have come down a lot, and will continue to do so, and despite my initial doubts, the performance of these is really ready for Prime Time now, so any unfortunate Califreepers should consider them, as a gesture to the State anyway.

Here in California East,(The land of "I Needa DRINK" Teddy) it is almost impossible to get rid of old monitors and TV's now. One is apparantly expected to abandon them on lonely country roads, or hurl them from overpasses, I guess. Never mind that the "Lead" is locked up in the glass, and was only put there to silence the '80's X-Ray Nuclear Atomic Deadly Radiation Terror in the first place....

Certain large states pay out far more to the federal government than they could ever hope to get back. Some of those funds help to pay for smaller states expenses. I would submit that the loss of the state you hate with a passion would cost your state tens of millions of dollars each year, if your state is smaller. Number one, your state wouldn't have tax dollars from California to draw from. And number two, you'd have to chip in to help the other states that would also lose funds because California was gone.

California may be a pain in the patute, but it has the number one, two and three largest dollar volume ports. If I'm not mistake those ports are in Long Beach, Los Angeles and San Francisco. California would be the 5th largest economy in world if it left the union. Do you really want to give that away to anyone?

Help devise plans to turn the state back to our side. It's much too important to just write off.

Well, sure the Dims in Sacramento will tax anything that doesn't move.

If it moves, they kill it. Then they tax it.

Go Simon!

When this becomes law in California...and it will...how much more will it take before the citizens that produce and contribute to the inflated tax base in that state finally decide that they have had enough? The liberals own the state, so short of a massive political shift on the west coast, the only way that things like this will stop is for the people who actually contribute to the tax base to pack up and move to a state where they won't continue to be taken for granted and subjected to this treatment.

It's too late! The radicals already took over the ground, and there is no getting it back. Sad, but true.

Looks like it's finally time to pack it all up and head to Oregon--are there any conservative areas in that state?

How about we just give the populations of the LA Basin and the Bay Area back to Mexico, and keep the land? That'll take care of the problem, won't it?

I don't believe it can be turned back. The rot there has gone too far to ever be cured. I agree with the poster who said those who are actually paying taxes there need to get out.

Into the ocean, and never rise again.

The whole state of Oregon is conservative except Portland, Eugene, and Salem. Unfortunately that's the majority of the state population and that portion sways all the elections.
