WASHINGTON (AP) -- Reversing course, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday she would donate thousands of dollars she received from indicted ImClone founder Sam Waksal to charity.
Clinton and a soft money account set up on her behalf by Democrats received $33,000 from Waksal, campaign finance records show.

You're quite welcome

Hillary Clinton can stay the hell outta Texas. Let her go on vacation with her own husband--if she can find him!

Does anyone believe that an arrogant democrap crook like Sammie Waksal didn't also give Hillie campaign CASH, as well? Sam KNOWS the rules don't apply to him, so why follow the campaign contribution limits? Give Hillie a brief case full of cash, for those special purposes, and hope that there is payback in the future. Rich was allowed to buy a pardon, after all.

Wonder why they didn't find a Republican to comment on this embarrassment of a flip-flop? If it was a Republican you could bet there would be several Democrats weigh in on it with lots more negative spin.

If it was a Republican you could bet there would be several Democrats weigh in on it with lots more negative spin.Exactly.

In the past, Clinton has handed over questionable campaign money. Only after investigations and to cover-up the embarrassing situations. Hillary never volentarily gave up contributions without outrage from the public.
To: JohnHuang2
Waksal was charged with obstruction of justice and bank fraud in addition to previous securities fraud and perjury charges. These are the only type of people that would support a Clinton....

The remaining $26,000 was donated to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee's New York Senate 2000, a soft money account set up on Clinton's behalf. What's so impressive about this?!

Of course, she'll give it to the American Museuum Council............remember them?
To: JohnHuang2
Not to worry. The Clintons have several charitable trusts in their own name. Senator Clinton will, I'm sure, give this money to a worthy charity, probably the Clinton Family Trust, a 501c(3) entity.
See, she donated it to charity, didn't she?
To: JohnHuang2
I thought I just heard on Fox News (and so did a friend of mine) that the donation totaled $63,000. So which is correct?
To: OldFriend
Here are two charities that I'm sure are high on the Clinton's list of charitable giving:
Organization Name: Clinton Family Foundation
City: Chappaqua, NY
Code: 4 - A private foundation generally with a 30% deductibility limitation.
Organization Name: Clinton Family Fund
City: Chicago, IL
Code: 4 - A private foundation generally with a 30% deductibility limitation.

Yeah, but will she pick her favorite 'charity', Hamas? ;^)It will. And she'll give Mrs. Arafat another smooch on the cheek while she's handing her the check.
