Sounds great summer, but I am a little concerned about those Florida amendments. People tend to pass anything "for the children's schooling" without really thinking about it. One of them is mandatory class sizes and one is state sponsered preschool. Another is trying to gut Jeb's education plan. These amendments will cost billions.

Here Jeb ride a chopped 54'

So where will Reno next attach herself too? Some public university no doubt.

Just being on a Harley surely doesn't guarantee a second term in office..... But I suspect and certainly hope that Governor Bush will succeed in doing that.

[Also, "notably" -- although this CNN article won't spell it out for readers: McAuliffe will not mention the FL gov race, since Dems are clearly not favored in that race either. Sorry Dem lurkers! Even the Top Mop of your party knows it's over in FL...] Your confidence is even making a 'worry wart' like me feel a bit more relaxed.....the Dems are certainly in disarry at the moment but I think we'll see a major 'smear JEB and play the 'race card' campaign' after the primary! Just hope & pray that FL voters don't fall for the usual RAT tricks!
For 4 years Floridians have seen JEB in action & know his accomplishments....so the 'usual tricks & smears' may not work as well as before.....

Yep, George W. Bush rides into victory again in 2004 in his big, mean Ford machine and Jeb will ride into victory with his second term on a big, mean Harley machine.

Wish I had a Harley!

"he will also express optimism that the party's gubernatorial nominees will prevail in Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Arizona, Wisconsin and Maine."
This is very interesting. I would have thought McAwful would have touted Davis prevailing in California - since they have beat Simon relentlessly with nasty commercials for over a month.

Look for Reno to "hog" the cover of Vanity Fair, riding behind Cher on her Harley.

Thanks, Summer, this is a great article and most encouraging. Looks like the Freepers won't even have to use the ugly Elian photos...Jeb's doing a fantastic job just being himself and standing up for what's right!

Reminds me of Dukakis in the tank. Jeb looks just as comfortable on the Harley as 'Ratboy did in the tank.
And with that outfit, he can stay the hell away from my Harley.

After the 2000 election, hanging chads and dimpled chads and the gloming of voter intent because the voters themselves weren't intelligent enough to cast a ballot, there were quite a few jokes about the intellect of the average Floridian voter. Sorry.
I just read the caption under the cartoon...the part about "ambiguous wording" just struck me as silly. Now the dems are gearing up for another tiresome bile campaign...by bringing into question the reading comprehension of the average Florida voters. I hope it blows up in their arrogant faces. I'm waiting impatiently for Floridians to become insulted by this behavior.
As for the Orlando Sentinal article predicting that Jeb will win by a landslide because Reno and McBride are JOKES...he's absolutely right. I believe that the Waco Bunny's limp, slightly psychotic attempt at a campaign will be only one small factor in Jeb's landslide voctory. McBride's total LACK of a campaign will be another. Howeverm the truth is that Jeb'll be reelected because Florida voters DO love him. He's a good governor. A good leader.

Unfortunately, we WILL most likely have a Democratic governor in PA. Current Governor Mark Schweiker decided not to run this year, for reasons known only to him. Perhaps he feels that he didn't earn his current position - which he didn't, due to 9-11 and Tom Ridge's subsequent appointment to a cabinet position which Tom Daschle's senate has yet to fund.
Schweiker's leadership since then, and especially his presence and strength of leadership during the rescue of nine minors in Southwestern PA - he even jumped in the hole himself to help lift the last stretcher - would have guaranteed his reelection. Shame. I was wondering of a mass write in of Schweiker's name on the ballot in November would work...probably not.

Jeb on a Harley! Oh cool, he's gotta be a great politician...

And, as I have mentioned before on this forum: FL bikers are backing Gov. Bush in a big way, because he signed a new law early on, giving bikers the freedom to choose to wear or not wear a helmet. I think that's a shame.
A politician shouldn't have to give Americans freedom! A lot of Americans shed their blood for those God-given freedoms, and now Jeb's having to give them back to Americans.
Good post, Summer!
