Nigeria, host of this year's Miss World pageant, has warned the contest's beauty queens to avoid parts of the country where Shariah, or Islamic law, is enforced, a newspaper reported Sunday.

The pageant is scheduled for Nov. 30 in the capital, Abuja, which is not under Islamic law.

The U.S. State Department renewed its warning to U.S. citizens against traveling to Nigeria last week citing violent crime and ongoing ethnic and religious conflicts — some triggered by the introduction of Shariah.

I've worked for our local pageant, as well as the Miss Cal pageant, and our people would never allow that kind of venue. For a while we were harassed here locally by the lesbians, picketing, throwing raw meat, etc. We changed the venue so that they would be on private property and could be arrested (which they were.)

I hope those women will be okay. It's unbelieveably stupid.

Perhaps they'll start a new tradition - instead of a winner and two runners up, they could have 72 winners, all of whom would be forced into marriage with the most senior pageant judge.

What a picture if these demon-possessed Muslims raped and murdered the Miss World contestants!  Horrors!  It is what they indeed plan to do world wide.

The thread above explains how Muslims can murder their daughters and call it "honor killing" when daughters "bring shame on the family" by becoming a rape victims.  At the same time homosexuality is considered normal.
