August 15, 2002 -- JERUSALEM - Israeli forces killed a wheelchair-bound Hamas terror chief yesterday by bulldozing him when he answered calls to surrender with gunfire, witnesses said.

Nasser Jerar, the military commander of Hamas in the Jenin area, had lost both legs and an arm last year while preparing a bomb to be detonated inside Israel. But he had eluded an Israeli security dragnet since by fleeing from one hideout to another.

ROTFL! The only problem is that the Arabs will equate him to Klinghoffer, the paralyzed US citizen the terrorists dumped off of the Achille Lauro. They will completely ignore the fact that he was and armed terrorist bomb-maker and Klinghoffer was just an unlucky harmless old guy.

It's funny how his bomb making and the fact he was firing a weapon doesn't make it into the headline but his wheelchair does.

Shouldn't the headline be:

HAMAS BOMBMAKING LEADER SLAIN IN GUN BATTLE ?

Now, if this had been some white guy with no criminal record up in Idaho, the headline would have read like this:

WHITE SEPERATIST LEADER GOES DOWN WITH HIS ASSAULT RIFLE BLAZING, HEEDLESS OF DANGER TO COONDOGS INSIDE COMPOUND

If it was a Lutheran in a wheelchair with nothing but a bible being attacked by Janet Reno's tanks for commenting negatively about Clinton's tax policies, the headlines would be:
