"Excuse me for jumping in here. I'm from Chicago and the Dems here have long ago mastered voter-fraud. I feel for ya.... "
For years and years - sticking it right up the "old ballot box" of Repubs is a sport in the Windy City - you can't even get odds in Vegas that it won't happen - and the FR's up there go ga-ga and can't do antything about it.

Democrap partisans to vote in the GOP primary alone should be a warning sign to real conservatives that Linder is no conservative.
they are picking off conservative One by One

How about we just cut out the pissing contest? If you didn't know guillermo, or understand the context of his comments, I suppose you could read his comments to mean the opposite of what he really meant. But it is now pretty clear where he stands.
Let's just follow the results.

You're an ignoramus. Linder is just as conservative as Barr, just less bombastic about it (and I LIKE Barr).
You sound like one of the unappeasables.
Sorry to see Barr go, but he'll land on his feet.

I'm happy Cynthia MarxKinney is on her way out. As for Bob Barr being defeated in the primary, it's another sign of the Log Cabin Cabal deconservatizing the Republican Party. Sad. Agreed on all points!

Sorry about that; I see where he worked for the OTHER Dem now, and I stand corrected. I think. I guess supporting the lesser of two evils is a good thing.

Oh, please.
Shouldn't you be at a "Pitch-forkers" meeting tonight? You and the other 5 members in the state?

"However, the liberal scored far and a way the greatest coup of the evening and have the bragging rights going into the crucial November election."
I don't see it that way at all. McKinney is an ultraleftist reparations racist and her defeat is a big blow to the Shaptons, etc. It would have been nice having both Barr and Linder in the Congress but it didn't work out that way, and I'm not all that sure some of it wasn't Bob's fault. That said I hope he makes a comeback in some way.

Linder had a 96% conservative rating in 2001, and 93 lifetime. I'm not sure what a 'moderate' is to you (barr had 100% and 98% respectively).

Good grief. "Lesser of two evils"? Have you been drinking?
Getting rid of that embarrasment to the great state of Georgia should have been job number one, especially since it was a friggin' coin toss between Linder and Barr.
Good on Guillermo for playing a part in that effort.
To: rightwing2
Linder is a moderate? No way. Who are you calling a RINO? How do you define that? No jacka--, you are the extremist, if you think that Linder is a moderate. Gawd, what an idiot!!!

Absolutely right, rightwing2. Barr was one of our great heros, and a supporter of FR. I can't believe people are on here knocking Barr, and Linder has all the charisma of a catfish, and has sponsored only 2 bills in the House. He's a nothing, comparatively speaking, and couldn't wipe Barr's shoes for what Barr did and the battles he fought against the traitor crook Clinton. Hope Bush finds a place for Barr, but doubt it, because, Bush is a "compassionate" conservative, and is more like Linder, a moderate conservative at best. policy-wise (except of course for his war efforts).

I just checked GunOwners of America's Second Amendment ratings. They gave Bob Barr an "A-", but Linder only got a "C-". In addition to Linder's low 51% Conservative Index rating (vs Bob Barr's 71% rating) this is even more proof that Linder is no friend to the conservative cause and that conservatives suffered a resounding defeat today at the hands of Democrap crossover voters and outright RINO sabateurs.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! WTG Georgia Freepers! The Witch is dead! LOL Too bad about Barr tho...he had an excellent voting record. Does anyone know how Linder votes? There are too few good Conservatives...Barr was one of them.

Katie:"Far right conservative impeachment manager Bob Barr has been defeated. Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney was also defeated in the wake of a heavy crossover turnout of Republican voters voting Democrat in her district."
Nary a word about far left socialist liberal McKinney.

Are you sure about that? I thought the Barr vs. Linder thingy was because of the redistricting that took place. Am I wrong?

Barr did not have a choice. King Roy eliminated Barr's district. I can not see how Barnes got away with this. There is no doubt this redistricting violates voting rights act-wait I forget that's only for minority voters. It's ok to dilute/take away a Republican's right to vote. You should see the Georgia congressional map: spaghetti! The Dems were after Barr because of the impeachment of Clinton. Barr is smart; he'll recover. After all, everytime a moving van pulls into GA, it brings another GOP refugee from the east or left coast. I live in Cherokee county and voted for Barr. Linder is ok though; He is a conservative.

Thankyou, rintense. I thought it was redistricting and not the negative things some are saying about Barr.
