ANYONE who's not happy with Mike Bloomberg's crusade against smokers should show up at City Hall on Monday. A group of freedom-loving citizens led by artist Scott LoBaido will converge on City Hall at 6 p.m. to demand that the mayor drop his quest to see cigarettes banned from all city bars and restaurants. Organizers will hand out flyers with statistics from OSHA, the Dept. of Energy, and the surgeon general to counter Bloomberg's wild claims about the dangers of secondhand smoke.

I'm sorry the shore of the Pacific Ocean didn't move to Nevada. I live elsewhere. The facts are the facts. Politicians love to defeat smoking. It's a hit with 75% of the voters.

However, even though 55 million adults smoke, that is still only 25% of the population.  Anytime you have polls and EVERYBODY votes, that is still only 25% not in favor of bans. Also, not all non-smokers vote for smoking bans.  And more non-smokers are starting to see that is is a private property issue right.  This is what we are fighting for.  The Freedom to Choose what to do with a business.  It should be left up to the owner, NOT the Government and the special interest groups who make big bucks to take away rights.

Explain to me why 75% of the population who do NOT smoke have to endure breathing the , stinky , unhealthy butt smoke of 25% of the population ! If you want to smoke your brains out do it in the privacy of your home or in the great outdoors , not in a public place . The same goes for pot .
