Your intent is quite clear thank you.

I think you come to this conclusion because you are either too imperceptive or too indolent to provide a substantive rebutal. Your abundant use of invective is quite a convenient cover if the above is true.

It seems your inadequacies are quite clear, thank you.

I did not advocate staying home, I merely advocated a non-vote for the office of governor. I have never missed an election other than a single primary in my entire life.

Having said that, I'm trying to find the truth about this supposed questionaire response by Simon. I have seen a post by ElkGroveDan in which Simon says in a letter the exact opposite of the above post. Randy Thomasson of CCF certainly has a mixed motives as do the Log Cabin Republicans and the SF Chronicle, for that matter. I will cheerfully rescind my post should I find out differently.

Just tried the www address I sent and took me right to the letter from Simon to Ray Haynes explaining his positions on some bills as well as saying he does not support a proclamation for Gay Pride Day. What a mess this whole thing has turnout out to be and I just want us to concentrate on getting Simon elected. It's really been hard trying to keep up but I'm determined as it's just too important or our STATE is down the tubes...might even already be to late but let's hope not.

Apparently the liberal media and the Democrats are busy with their dirty tricks, and some DU types are fueling the fire. Can the naysayers say "B-a-a-a-a-a-a-h"?

Listen to yourselves. You are behaving in such a non Christ-like manner. I'm a Christian and nowhere in the bible does it say I have the right to judge someone else. I have enough to worry about with regard to my own sin. What would you do if your son or daughter were gay? I shudder to think. How do you know that Bill Simon doesn't have a gay sister/brother or cousin? We know Dick Chaney's daughter is gay. That didn't stop you from voting for Bush, did it? I have a gay cousin that I love. I'm not thrilled that she's a homosexual but I still love her unconditionally. I know that Jesus does too. Yes, I think the act of homosexuality is a sin but I also know that Jesus loves the sinner. That means you, too, because we are all sinners. Any way Simon answered that question, the media or the right-wing Christians would have blasted him. Stay home on November 5th...bring back Mr. pro abortion Gray Davis for another 4 years. That, my friend, will be on your (and every other "Christian's") conscience who stayed home. Do you really think there is a candidate out there who agrees with 100% of what you do? You're dreaming if you think there is. I suggest you pray about it because staying home would be just plain wrong! Get off your self-rightious pity pot and come to your senses. WWJD? Hmmmmm?

For your benefit, I'll repeat my post #25. Read it this time!

The gay agenda seeks to validate the gay lifestyle through the creation of man-made laws that will allow them to rationalize their actions in their own minds. God says in Leviticus 18:22, "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." While I love the sinner and yet hate the sin, I will not enable their agenda with my vote. How's that?

Addendum:

We are most certainly called to rebuke our brother's sin. See Luke 17:3, "So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him." and Leviticus 19:17, "Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt. God will determine their motivation and ultimately judge their hearts and I am called to forgive them if they repent. The truth is in His Word. Read it!

Staying home and not voting poses a greater threat (sin) than voting. Got it! It will be on all the heads of the right wing fanatics if Gray Davis wins. You'll never find a candidate who agrees with everything you do except for God (albeit he wouldn't be as mean as you) and he's not running. A sin is a sin is a sin regardless of what it is. There are no degrees of sinning and the last I heard, we all sin..(even you) so I'd be careful if I were you about judging others. God says a lot about that in the bible too.

See my post #83. I didn't advocate not voting except for the office of governor. But now I even question that in light of the letter from Bill Simon to State Senator Ray Haynes posted by ElkGroveDan.

As the text of the Word clearly states I can judge actions and rebuke by brother/neighbor. I earnestly try not to judge hearts. That's God's job. The example I commonly use to explain the distinction is that of a man who steals to feed his family. While his action is clearly a sin, I believe that God will look at his motives, judge his heart, and exonerate him. You sound like a liberal baby Christian with your "don't judge" catch phrase. You've obviously been listening to the liberal media too much. Got it!

I stay away from the mainstream media as much as possible. I listen to Rush, Fox News Channel and Christian radio both talk and music. The word "liberal" does not pass my lips without cringing. Nothing could be further from the truth. Baby Christian? Not really. I have been taught it my church though that I need to look at myself first because that's about all I can handle. That Log Cabin questionnaire was a setup from the very beginning. Bill Simon is damned if he answers it and he's damned if he doesn't. That's because the Dems and the liberal media know nothing more than to bash because they have no legitimate agenda. All I know is that Simon will not and cannot change the gay agenda. Why on earth then would someone who calls themself a "Christian" not vote and allow the snake, Gray Davis, to slither back in for another 4 years? It's beyond me. Like I said before, there is nobody out there running who will agree with 100% of what a you or anyone else believes in...it's impossible unless God almighty himself were running and he's not. Get over these single issues and vote the best candidate in and that's Bill Simon. It's a no-brainer!
