You can't destroy evil...it can only change shape.
Anyone see "Fallen"?

If we are talking comic books and movies...I wonder if he was shot three times before he REALLY died?

Oliver North said that the administration believed that Bin Laden had been killed sometime last November or early December, but that they were holding off any announcement because, first of all the war against Al Quaeda was not over. They had along way to go at that point and the administration didn't want the nay sayers to call for an end to the conflict in Afghanistan before the mission was fully accomplished (and you know they would have). Also, without proof, the enemy would have continued to claim victory and use Bin Laden as a rallying call for more attacks on US interests (which they tried to do, anyway).

We can't rule out the possibility that OBL and Elvis are one in the same. Mind you, nobody has ever seen them together..........

That's one of my favorite things about the Comedy Channel: I can occasionally watch the first SNLs back when Chevy Chase was doing Weekend Update.
I had forgot about the running "Franco is still dead" joke. It seems appropriate, here. I wonder if the current SNL would resurrect it for Bin Laden?

I guess this means Elvis has left the building.

He's dead, Jim. Died of pneumonia brought on by overwork exacerbated by a kidney problem in turn brought on by failure to drink 8 glasses of water each day.

Wasn't there a lot of speculation of whether or not Hitler was dead?
Somehow, I get the feeling we will be going through the same thing with Osama bin Laden.

It means 1 of 2 things.
1. Al Queda is careful enough not to broadcast such information.
2. I hope it means that our President knows we just lost 3,000 civilians dead and that we are in a war, and that even if monitoring has told us the answer, we keep the fact that we have such monitoring a closely held secret, just like when we broke the Japanese code in WWII.

Poor ole BL. Either dead or a coward for running away and leaving his boys to meet Allah without him.

given his megalomania, I have to assume he wouldn't be able to resist opportunity to tweak the USA with an in-your-face "I'm still alive" videotape. Bumping that.

An article filled with pure speculation. If the article said just the opposite would your comment be the same?

Generallissimo Francisco Franco is still dead. Dang! I was just starting to like that old Fascist, too!
Just MHO of course, but I think bin Laden bin dead for a while, now.

Also, given his megalomania, I have to assume he wouldn't be able to resist opportunity to tweak the USA with an in-your-face "I'm still alive" videotape. This is the most compelling argument in my opinion. He's worm food.
