My reference was to pre-911 policies in which we became involved as globo-cops, skipping around the world from one domestic dispute to another - and then wondering why everyone hates us. As I've already stated, we need to hunt down those responsible for the 9-11 attack, but after we mop up the desert with their beheaded bodies, we need to take a serious look at what got us into this mess in the first place - and it's not because of our freedoms.
