[history]
The defeat last month of Rep. Cynthia A. McKinney has further widened the split between blacks and Jews, despite Democratic efforts to heal the rift dividing two key parts of an important coalition.
Mrs. McKinney's loss in the Georgia primary was the second primary loss suffered by an incumbent black Democrat. Rep. Earl F. Hilliard of neighboring Alabama lost in June. In both elections, the incumbents blamed Jewish money flowing to their opponents.

"To have non-African-Americans from around the country putting millions into a race to unseat one of our leaders for expressing her right of free speech is definitely a problem," she said. Translation: My free speech is a Right. Your free speech is a Problem.

Mrs. McKinney's father, state Rep. Billy McKinney, said before the Georgia primary that the effort against his daughter was a Jewish plot. "Jews bought everybody. That's J-E-W-S," he said. This man is a disgusting pig. That's P-I-G.

That's funny, I don't remember any Arabs marching with Blacks in Civil Rights marches in the 60's...

Let's not forget the Evangelical Christians and other community members outraged at her statements!

"To have non-African-Americans from around the country putting millions into a race to unseat one of our leaders for expressing her right of free speech is definitely a problem," she said. This statement can also apply to Tom Daschle in South Dakota. Most of his money comes from out-of-state, too. Will they complain about that, too?
I knew the day would come when political African-Americans played the race card against anyone who voted against them. Voting for the opponent of an African-American incumbant is a racist hate-crime.

Do I weep when the lefties are at each others' throats? Hardly!

Nothing is said about all the money from the Arab Islamic causes going to McKinney? This is racist on the part of the black leadership for refusing to see the infusion of money from Arabs, but blame the Jews for sending money into the house primay race.

Don't worry, the LEADERS of these groups are good buddies... And by and large, they use the same political playbook. And that playbook dictates that the as long as the black and Jewish PEOPLE never get along, they have done their job!

I saw a discussion on MSNBC between Mort Zuckerman and James Zogby right after McKinney lost. Zogby looked like he just lost his mother. He was bemoaning the influx of money into the campaign, saying "There is something wrong with the system if the people of Georgia aren't allowed to choose their own representatives. The outside money unfairly influenced the campaign."
Zuckerman replied: "That's the American system. It's been that way forever."
Zogby lamented: "But it's not right. Something should be done. When the people of Georgia can't choose their own officials..."
Zuckerman said: "It's been that way for decades. Remember Emily's List? Emily's List was a national woman's organization raising money nationally for women candidates around the country."
The bottom line is: The Left loves it when it works in their favor, but cries that it must be stopped when it works against them.

Thanks again, for your informative links, backhoe.
You've got a million of 'em.

"To have non-African-Americans from around the country putting millions into a race to unseat one of our leaders for expressing her right of free speech is definitely a problem," she said.
This is a lie, of course. No one objected to her exercising her right of free speech. They objected to the sickening anti-semitic bigotry she expressed with that right.

The lefties must think we're pretty dumb not to notice that McKinney regularly consorted with our enemies, making clear her contempt for Americans and Israelis.
Sometimes I think that if the lefties weren't allowed to tell their constant lies, they'd just stand mute, eyes popping out in frustration.

Hi, katt- I just wish I had a better system for keeping track of them than my addled little head...

Even more obvious is the fact that since 9-1-1 where have all of the faces from the black caucus been. Before 9-1-1 they were all in the news right out front on the Clinton/Gore issues, the Gore loss and all liberal causes. But where have than been on the 9-1-1 issue?Where are they on the suicide bombings in Israel? They are conspicuosly absent on these issues.Like always its their way or no way.Their intent is to keep America divided so they can wield their own little sword.

"Many black voters may decide to just stay home and not vote," says Mr. Walters, who served as Jesse Jackson's deputy campaign manager for issues during Mr. Jackson's 1984 presidential bid.Geez... sounds good to me. :^D

It's a waste of time for these Jewish leaders (who elected them?) to meet with black leaders.
The black leaders will only to the verbal equivalent of expectorating on the Jews because they're angry.
Jews should look more to conservatives who support Israel than pull this exercise in abasement.
