President McKinney?

Move over Hillary Clinton. Another left-wing Democratic woman is reportedly eyeing a White House run in 2004 - none other than recently defeated Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney.

The Progessive Review quotes political observer David Weigel reporting that McKinney has been approached by a Green Party activists who see her as a possible replacement for Ralph Nader, who ran for president in 1996 and 2000.

And several Greenies say McKinney is giving the idea some serious thought.

"She's very disillusioned with the Democrats," said Jason Kafoury, an organizer with Democracy Rising, a group that Nader founded. "She's looking at a number of offers, including ours."

John Stith, an Alabama Green activist, told Weigel that McKinney herself floated the idea of running as Nader's vice president. "When I told her that many Green Party organizers may prefer her to Nader for our 2004 nomination, she seemed surprised," said Stith.

Nader is still undecided about making a third White House bid.

other intelligent people say then McKinney is no slouch intellectually.

Putting aside the fact this reminds me of the old "in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king" saying,I wasn't writing about McKinney. I was writing about Bubbette! Clinton.

I'm still undecided as to who would siphon more votes away from the Deocratic candidate - Nader or McKinney.

Nader unquestionably, IMHO. At least he is intelligent, persuasive (to some) and has legitimate ideas, wrongheaded or not. He was of great help to us in 2000. Remember, too, that he's completely impervious to RAT pleadings and demands for him to drop out of races and order his supporters to vote for the RAT instead. In fact, he hates Democrats more then Republicans, because he knows that we at least are standing by our true convictions, while the RATS just talk out of both sides of their mouths on the issues that matter most to him in order to get votes, and then do nothing about such issues once they're safely reelected. We definitely want him to run again.

McKinney, on the other hand, is a moron with blatant anti-American sentiments so vile that not even RATS can accept it, is an anti-Semite, and has left a substantial trail of circumstantial evidence that she may well have committed actual treason against the United States. She was thrown out by her own brainwashed RAT voters, and is obviously not wanted by the RAT leadership either. About the only potential candidate she could steal votes from is Jesse Jackson.

I think it just shows how far the Greenies have fallen. With McKinney, the Greenies will suck less votes from the dems than Nader would have sucked.

McKinney's got the looks. And looks are very important among liberals. Perhaps we could print up a bunch of McKinney pics, hand out some mailer addresses, etc, avoid issues, and get the ball rolling.

Nope,Bubbette! going to stay in the background until she is coronated, and after that she will bob and weave all she can to prevent having to actually debate, take a position,or show how truly stupid and shallow she really is.

I must repectfully disagree, IF she runs, there will be no way out of her having to debate her nominated opponent. The other side will hound and hound until she does. And she will not be able script the questions either; no amount of bullying on the Klintons part will be able to stop questions about her husband, Vince Foster, New Square, PR terrorists, etc. Just my opinion but I think its a good one.

IF she runs, there will be no way out of her having to debate her nominated opponent.

She won't have any opponets for the primary. That's the whole purpose of her laying back and letting them all bleed each other out.

The other side will hound and hound until she does.

She will have no choice but to debate her Republcan opponet, most likely Bubba Bush. I wish we had somebody better, but it ain't gonna happen.

And she will not be able script the questions either;

The questions WILL be given to her in advance by the leftist insiders. No way in hell are the League of Wymen Voters going to allow Bubbette! to look stupid at the debate they sponsor. They would lose their SOW gang memberships.

no amount of bullying on the Klintons part will be able to stop questions about her husband, Vince Foster, New Square, PR terrorists, etc.

She won't have to threaten anybody about this because none of these questions will ever be asked. No way is the main stream press going to ask any question about this now. They didn't even ask any questions about any of that while it was all happening. That only leaves her opponet to ask them, and Bubba-2 sure as hell ain't going to ask her anything. Hell,he's been working overtime to bury all the evidence the DOJ already have. And nobody BUT the mainstream media or Bubba-2 are ever going to get close enough to her to ask these questions. It just ain't gonna happen.

Just my opinion

That's all any of us have.
