Repilies #18 and 19 in the thread you linked are, well, let's say .....inappropriate for this forum.

from same:
LinksThe method for posting a HTML link is fairly simple. The following format is used:
<a HREF="URL">Link Description</a>
where "URL" is the URL address you want to link to (and you gotta use the double quotes), and Link Description is whatever you want to call your link. For example:
<a HREF="http://www.drudgereport.com/">Link to Drudge</a>
becomes Link to Drudge

The quickest way may be to open a New Mail Message in your browser and drag the title of the document from the thread you want to post into the Mail Message. Then View Page Source and copy the part beginning with < and ending with > -- Put that in a window to post. It should appear correctly and be clickable when you preview it.
Here is another way: <A HREF="URL HERE">Title of Thread or Click here</A>

If you want the url to any given reply within a thread so as to be able to link directly to that response, simply place your cursor over the # of that reply, right click and select
copy shortcut......then it's simply a matter of pasting the url with the appropriate tags........
My reply #2 to this thread.

john, reckon you could yank the offending posts #18 & 19 on the
HTML Sandbox - Code for Newbies page without trashing the entire thread ?
it's a good resource for newbies, but some dipsh!t went a tad over the line w/ graphics practice ...

NEWSMAXI'm shocked that your hotlink actually took me to NewsMax's website rather than to a passage from the Bible.
