[history]
Minnesota hunters and anglers, their numbers approaching 2 million, each year contribute hundreds of millions of dollars toward conservation in the state. Much of the money is paid through license fees and self-imposed taxes on fishing and hunting gear. Funds also are voluntarily contributed to conservation and environmental groups to enhance and protect the state's wildlife habitat.

Reds in MN are livid over Green Party fielding a Senate candidate. No suprise the Red Star is attacking the liberal mouthpiece it is. For a gut busting laugh look at DU threads on this.

For some fun and frolic, someone should check into what the leaders of the state's Green Party drive around in. Bet it's not compacts.

They may drop Ed McGaa. The only reason they nominated him was because he's a indian native indigenous american.

Finally, taxation, Pentel says, should be "based on the ability to pay. This would lead to a phasing out of the sales and property taxes and a concurrent increase in income, luxury and corporate taxes."

Not anymore! Nader has endorsed Wellstone (much to the chagrin of the crackpot McGaa!).
In last weeks debate at the state fair, McGaa went loopy, calling Cheney the President and saying that Bush and Cheney had only 1 1/2 brains combined.
Wellstone, a socialist but not stupid, has arraigned for all four candidates to be at all of the next seven debates. Thus assuring that Independence Party candidate, Jim Moore, siphons off as many votes from Coleman as the nutty McGaa does from Wellstone.

This is now the 2nd major hit piece by the Star Trib against the Greens. They are very worried that the Greens will take enough votes away from the Dems to throw the Senate election to the Republicans. It's only gonna get worse before election day.

And wouldn't that be a real shame.
Confusion to our enemies!

Fur coats are no longer a status symbol, but rather a symbol of cruelty and waste. Looks like Vin Diesil set your movement back a few years:
