Amen...I enjoy nothing more than watching that squint-eyed snapping turtle Carville rage impotently at Ann.
PS I really enjoyed The Seven Myths of Gun Control. Keep up the good work.

Great article. I dumped TV over five years ago and dumped talk radio (My favorite was KVI but even they tried my patience). My only news is from the internet now. This frog DID jump out of the water before it got too hot.
I'm ashamed to admit though that I haven't gotten her book yet. I will get it on my way home tonight...

Never trust the left when it comes to statistics. If their rainforest stats were true, the rain forest would have been totally gone ten years ago.

I emailed the editor of the newspaper and asked him not to lie about the email response that he recieved.
I look forward to reading Coulter's book because I loved her first book on impeaching the Great Liar. But I do fear that her apparent turning-their-own-guns-on-them (characterizing them so derisively) is a bit much. Ann's strength is that she has clarity and truth on her side. While skewering the liberal buffoons is fun it does make us too much like them.

On September 1, a newspaper editor in a small, Pennsylvania college town Actually, State College isn't that small. During the school year, it has about 40,000 students on campus. My Rand-McNally says that it has about 38,000 permanent residents. I doubt that many of either group actually reads the Centre Daily Times, but the area is bigger than the "small town" label would imply. It's interesting that in a town that size only 500 people would respond to the editor's little rant. I think you're right in commenting that he is lying about the whole situation.

While I think she is "neat" and agree 99% with her, she can be a trifle over the top occasionally. She reminds me of a young lady I knew many years ago. Rather attractive, very intelligent and ultra outgoing.
On one occasion I went to her home and being greated at the door noticed a mural picture of a rather interesting, but un-identifiable object. When I asked her to please tell me what the picture was, she told me to step out to the street and look at it.
When I did so, I recognized the picture as that of a woman's crotch!
She provided the information that it was a self portrait.

I emailed him also, but not via the thread. They are like Palestinians, they can't even lie believably.

"If I were Rupert Murdoch, I think Id fire some of the people at HarperCollins for turning down the No. 1 best-selling book of the summer for purely ideological reasons." Really?
What do you think publishing is anyway? A for-profit business?
Never mind...
May they find other employment soon...

I go back and forth on Coulter.
You can't call her writing "scholarly".
On the other hand, you can't disagree with it, either.
This article suggenst that she is probably the right wing equivalent of a Carville or an Ivins. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Here's mine; sent on Sept. 3.
I am sorry that you are so humor-challenged but Ann doesn't have a hateful bone in her body. She's just bold enough to stand up to the liberal media and talented enough to do it with a healthy dose of laughter. Clearly you don't understand that. Too bad.
The saddest thing about your "I hate Ann" column is your apparent belief that you know "what serves the public good" and what "ideas will provide subjects fit for public consumption and debate." That's flat scary, and precisely what's wrong with the media today. It is that sort of power-drunk perspective that paved the way for the huge successes of Bernard Goldberg's, Bias; Ann Coulter's, Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right; and William McGowan's, Coloring the News. Your liberal abuse of power is backfiring.
Keep it up. You're ruining your credibility with every "I know what's best for you" comment.

Nice article -- appalled by Coulter's success, the leftists are working diligently to prove her point.
(Alinsky) The thirteenth rule: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
Unger is lying about the emails, of course. But hey, what's a little misrepresentation weighed against the success of the Revolution?
