[history]
Minneapolis resident Saida Mohamud said she has yet to recover from the impact that Sept. 11 had on Muslims such as she. For the past year she's been unable to find work.
For Mohamud and other Twin Cities Muslims and Arabs, this kind of subtle discrimination gradually has replaced the physical and verbal harassment they experienced soon after the hijacking attacks.

It would be better if these people would leave.

"He almost hired me and he then immediately told me, sorry. Isn't that discrimination?" she said through an interpreter recently."
hehe, you have to laugh at the ridiculousness. She was told that she wasn't hired because of bad English and then the article quotes her bitchin through an interpreter.

Islam is evil. It should be declared a non-religion that is
based on murder, then all of them deported. Problem solved.

Anyone else getting sick of all the bitchin and moaning? And notice how reporting on it and other supposed discrimination against arabs/muslims increases daily as we approach the anniversary. I think that reflects the treasonous agenda of most of the liberal media. think about it. how many articles on this subject would you see on a daily basis in the media two months ago. sickening

How many Muslims, including this woman, have stepped up to the plate a publicly protested at the blowing up of innocent non-muslims in all parts of the world bny muslims?
The have turned me from anti-discriminator to a discriminator.
Muslims want us to look at ourselves. Well, I have, and I suggest that Muslims start look at themselves, because they are turning more and more people against them.
The lilly livered, chicken muslim 'moderates', better start becoming 'immoderate' against muslim terrorism, or they will all be lumped together with it.

Email off a nasty note to the Red Star Tribune for publishing whiny garbage.
Want a job, Muslim woman from Somalia? Go to New York City and work at Ground Zero. You will be furnished a stick and a spoon. Go on, try to clean up the hellish wasteland. Remember the lovable peaceful Muslims unleashed mass murder upon innocent civilians. We owe you less than nothing. Actually, we owe it to ourselves to DEPORT those who:
- Will not learn the language
- Lend support to terrorism in any way
- Refuse to take an oath of loyalty to the USA
- Encourage further attacks upon the USA

Well we need work visas for laundry cleaners, don't you know. There's a shortage of workers at $8 an hour in America.

Actually I sort of know one of the ground zero cleanup crew (met him through a common friends a couple of times); CJ Ramone of the band the Ramones.
If I meet him again, I won't press for details but will definitely listen if he opens up.

From the article: "
a manager told her that she wouldn't be hired...because she didn't speak English fluently."
Which was followed by: " 'Isn't that discrimination?' she said through an interpreter..."
Yes, Saida my love, that is definitely discrimination, but it's RATIONAL, REASONABLE and LAWFUL discrimination you twit.
Regards,
Boot Hill
To: Boot Hill
It may be rational discrimination but I fully expect that it will soon be illegal.

"It's not just scary and frightening a little bit -- it's even shameful for this country," Slisli said. "Hate speech, hate language -- it shouldn't be tolerated."Hey Slisli, you come over to my country and pass judgement on what should and what shouldn't be tolerated?
You have a whole sack full, bud.
Your country does all those things to me and I just avoid it. I don't go around whining about it.

If they cannot find (or cannot get) work here; there's plenty for them to do "back home". Like taking piles of rubble that look like piles of rubble and re-building them into houses that look like piles of rubble; sweeping stree...er...dirt pathways; making glass (you know...where you heat up sand - they have plenty of that); sending their kids to schoo....er....work; growing beards (for the most part - guys only); doing laundry (there's just got to be a river near here somewhere); having social engagements with a close circle of friends (there ain't no Al Qaeda near here nowhere!); and going to the local mosque!
And all for $8/year!
What more could a good muslim ask for??
