Minneapolis resident Saida Mohamud said she has yet to recover from the impact that Sept. 11 had on Muslims such as she. For the past year she's been unable to find work.

For Mohamud and other Twin Cities Muslims and Arabs, this kind of subtle discrimination gradually has replaced the physical and verbal harassment they experienced soon after the hijacking attacks.

If they cannot find (or cannot get) work here; there's plenty for them to do "back home". Like taking piles of rubble that look like piles of rubble and re-building them into houses that look like piles of rubble; sweeping stree...er...dirt pathways; making glass (you know...where you heat up sand - they have plenty of that); sending their kids to schoo....er....work; growing beards (for the most part - guys only); doing laundry (there's just got to be a river near here somewhere); having social engagements with a close circle of friends (there ain't no Al Qaeda near here nowhere!); and going to the local mosque!
And all for $8/year!
What more could a good muslim ask for??
