Three Arabs from east Jerusalem were recently arrested by police and Shin Bet security officials after they allegedly planned to poison patrons at Jerusalem's Cafe Rimon, it was revealed yesterday. Owners of the cafe said they didn't suspect anything from their loyal Arab workers. Most restaurants and cafes in Jerusalem employ workers from the city's eastern neighborhoods convinced that "in our restaurant it couldn't happen."
Police announced the arrests of Othman Kiania, 22, from Silwan; Sufian Abdo, 23, of Jebel Mukaber; and Mussa Nasser, 22, of Ras el-Amud; and said the three had links to Hamas. Kiania, who worked as a chef at Cafe Rimon during the last three years, and the other two men confessed to police that they intended to lace pitchers of drink with Delaxin, a muscle relaxant that they assumed would cause diners to have heart attacks.

Strange that the restaurant owners would be shocked by this.

"in our restaurant it couldn't happen."
So how stupid are they?? Don't they realize that there is no Arab safe place in Israel. They hate the Israelis and until it's realized, this will actually happen. Get them out, all out and now!!

I'm shocked this wasn't tried sooner. Putting poison in food is less complicated then sending out homicide bombers.

Gee, it doesn't shock me. Slow learners, wishful thinkers.

"I'm shocked this wasn't tried sooner. Putting poison in food is less complicated then sending out homicide bombers." True. It's also interesting that these terrorists didn't feel like blowing themselves up. So there isn't an inexaustible supply of suicide bombers.

It would appear to me that no Arab work should be trusted.

Get them out, all out and now!!If they did that their economy would collapse. Israel doesn't have enough population to get along without Arabs to fill low and mid-skill positions.

There are already more than enough Thais and Romanians waiting in line for those jobs. Even Jews who are willing to take those jobs. Imagine that!
Two years ago the same thing was said about the huge number of Indians working in the tech sector in the U.S. Guess what!

If they did that their economy would collapse. Israel doesn't have enough population to get along without Arabs to fill low and mid-skill positions. The real reason behind US immigration laxity as well? When the "rich" clean their own toilets, bus their own tables and mow their own lawns, some sensible rules will be enacted and followed.

O.K. Somebody remind me that Islam is a religion of peace and love.
