Leave it CBS to taint the broadcasting of the WTC Memorial service with political jabs and left wing propaganda.
Shame on You!
You make me sick.

I'm livid. And I don't watch TV so I don't know who the players are. But some bozo started talking about the 'ill chosen' comments by the President about the missile in the camel's butt, etc. He quoted them in full.
Then some other genius who is deprived (thankfully) the chore of running the world weighed in on what the President has to do in order to get permission to take out Iraq.
The Pentagon event was beautiful. It's a little hard to appreciate the NYC thing through Dan Rather and his band of merry clowns and traitors.

What are the details? What did CBS do?
I'm not watching TV today...I am sick of this sh**. Let's quit crying in our beer and give war a chance....It seems we've had a "memorial" every three months and then we had a count down for a month for 9-11.

I was ready to give CBS kudos, they are the only network showing pictures of the victims on the bottom of the screen, along with the names. Very impressive, very thoughtful.
But immediately after all networks show President Bush's remarks at the Pentagon, it's politics as usual...and going on above the pictures!!!! CBS has Dan Rather blathering away to Bob Schieffer, about how President Bush must show more proof before he can start a war.
In disgust, I flip to ABC, and Peter Jennings is carrying on the same anti-retaliation conversation with George Stephanopolis.
Back to FOXNews for me. Their early morning coverage was outstanding. They showed the morning one year ago, in all it's horror, but only once, and only, (as one of the anchors explained), because it was necessary in order to fully tell the tale of what happened.
C-Span's regular democrat callers this morning were despicable in their hatred for PResident Bush. Other callers, who were appalled that they couldn't let go their hate for even one day, really blasted them.

You can go to PBS and watch the PC cartoons. PBS, the voice of the left, is not allowed on my media devices.

I started to watch the memorial services. It is currently on at least seven differnt channels. Not one of the stations covering the service has enough sense to just shut up and let us watch. Every one of them has commentary over the proceedings. What is it with these people. Do they really believe we can not watch something without them telling us what we are watching?
I finally just turned the TV off.

The reading of the names is somehow moving. I missed the replays of the attacks. I'm terrible sorry about that.

I did think that Bush's comment soon after September 11th calling the incursion into Afghanistan as a "crusade" was ill-chosen. He should have been a little more sensitive to the local history. They have long memories in the Middle East, and that comment was used against us in the Arab countries.

Do they really believe we can not watch something without them telling us what we are watching? I finally just turned the TV off. They would waste their opportunity to shove their dogma down the throat of America. Yup. Just turn it off.
Hmm, this one guy is reading the names and announcing "American" after each -- black, white hispanic, Indian, whatever. I sort of like that.

All networks, including C-Span, are continuing to show the names being read at the WTC Memorial. Someone just said this will continue for a couple more hours. Senator Charles Schumer just finished reading his portion of names.
CNN . A Liberian tanker was boarded by Coast Guard this morning, held off coast, ordered to port in Newark for more inspection. They were looking for stowaways....but tests showed traces of radiation found, so it's ordered back out to sea. Jeanne Messerve gives government assurances that this is most likely no big deal, but they are keeping it isolated just in case.

Sensitive? They should have been a little more sensitive in bringing War to the Innocent.
