I've always wondered about people who like to keep big snakes like this one.How the hell do they sleep nights with something like this in the house. A friend of my father used to keep several rattlesnakes around the house in tanks.One of them got out once and he never located the thing. Not my idea of a good pet.

I don't go out of my way to stomp snakes, but I won't have the damn things in my house.

Even something as harmless as a garter snake makes itself unwelcome by virtue of its capacity to stink to high heaven.

Those who keep snakes should, at a minimum, be extremely cautious if the snake is hazardous in any way.

And they should have a sh!t-load of liability insurance.
