I got a typically gracious request from one of your Chapter members asking -- not in so many words =) -- that I please shut the hell up lest folks think I'm speaking on your behalf. No doubt there are those who might draw the wrong conclusions or might again become confused somehow on that score.

While indeed there is no easier way to provoke me than to cast the slightest doubt on the integrity, objectives or commitment of folks I love, it's true I'm just an honorary member and am not speaking "for" you by any stretch of the imagination.

(Despite Torie's characterization of my posts as "Delphic", I'm not psychic and don't "channel" well.)

So ... best of luck with your busy fall schedule for midterms and rest assured I'll be doing my best to make it back for a FReep one of these days.

Until then, will be sitting on my hands like a good girl and simply hoping for the best where all members of all things "Free Republic" are concerned.

After all, you've been peeing copiously on just about every Network thread for months. You'd think someone in the DC Chapter would have wondered long ago about the benefits of having you act as their de-facto representative...
