Go Smith men, send the pointy heads in DC a message!!!

These people are pathetic excuses for conservatives, they're worse than RINO's. Anyone who'd vote against John Sununu for a liberal Democrat like Shaheen is not a conservative.
To: RCW2001
They're not Republicans, not conservatives, just a few
that are too dumb to be trusted with a ballot in the first place. They were supporting Shaheen by supporting Smith
but too foolish to understand.

All wishful thinking by the Shaheen camp that she'll win. The GOP has a very strong ticket, and Sununu will prevail easily (and I speak as an out-of-state Bob Smith supporter).

"No, he's not going to ask these people to stop," Smith spokeswoman Lisa Harrison said. "It's not his place."Which is why Mr Green Jeans lost in the first place.

I've never understood the reasoning of voting for a Democrat to teach the republican candidate a lesson.

Any "Republicans" in any way participating in a write-in campaign for Smith should be forever blacklisted in the GOP, and banned from any role, however minor in any and all future campaigns and politics within the party.
The candidiate has been chosen. The future of America hangs in the ballot. Your guy lost fair and square. Deal with it, or follow Jim Jeffords to the other side as a traitor.

No, he's not going to ask these people to stop," Smith spokeswoman Lisa Harrison said. "It's not his place." THIS is the real Bob Smith.
Good riddance to this big, fat, ass.

"No, he's not going to ask these people to stop," Smith spokeswoman Lisa Harrison said. "It's not his place." Then whose place is it? Any "Republican" who does not try to retake the Senate is scum, in my book.
"We're doing it to send a message, which is, `Don't take away our champion as conservatives and then have the audacity to ask us to support the guy you used to take him out,"' Hounsell said Monday.
What a dimwit! He is like the guy who caught his wife in bed with another man. He grabbed his revolver and put it to his own head, and told his wife, "You're next!"

Anybody who has paid attention this very week, i.e., Tommy Daschle's Pink Tie Rant and Torch's Nixon speech today, and doesn't vote STRAIGHT Republican is NO conservative.

The term "cutting off one's nose to spite one's face" comes to mind.

Don't forget. They kept telling us that Smith is good because "he stands up for principle."
But if Smith really did stand for what is right, he would tell these people to stop helping Shaheen.
To: sinkspur
Agreed. First he leaves, then he returns, then he barely lifts a finger to help the guy who won fair and square. Jerk is written all over him. Good riddance.

You have to wonder about the guy's judgment. Anyone that quits the party and then comes back has to expect a challenge. I can't imagine where he got the notion that he could become president.

The last shred of respect that I may have had for Smith has vanished.
As for the ones who continue support him in tilting at windmills, well, they're psycho.

Well, at least the party has been cleansed of some obvious RINOs. They were obviously supporting Smith to help Shaheen to begin with. Now that their plans have been thwarted by the conservative GOP base, they are just going to have to help Shaheen in a more direct way.
