In its season premiere Sunday, CBS's "60 Minutes" news-documentary show reported that Iraq and Iran are secretly financing and directing acts of terrorism against Israel. The report was based on documents seized by the IDF during Operation Defensive Shield and the army's interrogation of thousands of prisoners. Le Figaro reported this week that Syria was cooperating with Iran and providing training bases for terrorists.

Thanks for this post Israel Insider. I looked for information on it yesterday. All I could find was what CBS posted on their website and it left out much of the important information. Surprize!

I suppose it is nice to have proof; otherwise this is a "Well, duh!" moment for 60 Minutes.

I saw the piece while waiting for the Sopranos...Leslie's remark about the PLO documents being fakes was absolutely off the wall.

I believe the question that Stahl asked had to do with what the Palies have said--that the captured documents were fakes. The answer allowed the Israeli Army spokeswoman to say that the Palies have asked for the documents back.
