I hate this SOB even more than the torch. Lostenberg is the biggest gun grabbing bastard in the entire country.

She qualified for her primary and she won it fair and square... She was coronated by the RNC and the WH,neither of whom are based in North Carolina. Nobody had a chance against her.
To: sneakypete
She legally qualified for the primary ballot and voters went into the booth and voted for her...
That certainly isn't the case in NJ.

Who can deny the pain they've gone through, the tough, tough decision to ignore the electorate! It's just amazing the amount of grief these people are willing to put up with, all to do their public service and do our thinking for us. We need to give them a raise!

In a football game, a pass has been made, it is in the air. Opps, the whistle blows, the quarterback did not like that pass and would like someone else to replace it before the end result.

Lautenberg has really lost it. No wonder he was their 15th round draft choice (after Bradley, Menendez, P.W. Pallone, Andrews, Bubba, Bruce Spingsteen, Bill Parcells, Frank Sinatra, Jr., Pauly Walnuts, etc.).

Is there not one dimmocrat who will stand up and insist his or her political party obey the laws they took an oath to uphold? No. With the DemonCRAPS, the end always justifies the means as long as the end is a DemonCRAP victory. If we want the law to be obeyed in this case we are going to have ram it past their teeth and down their throat.
And, as always, don't expect any help from the media. They are on the DemonCRAP side, when not on their payroll.
Prepare to buckle down and fight. This one is going to extra innings.

she at least had to win the primary election. It was handed to her on a silver platter.

You know what, I'm going to agree with you. I'm actually scared right now. Not scared in a tinfoil way, but appalled that is being done in the open and with smiles like it's for the good of us all.
If they can get away from this, the Electoral College won't be far behind, IMO.

And I have a sneaky suspicion they vote in both places.

"It was handed to her on a silver platter."
You're barking up the wrong tree...
You didn't see her go behind closed doors and come out and get some activists court to put her name on the general election ballot...
Give it up...

For example, the Torch never expressed a moment's remorse for what he did except to whine that he may lose an election, and that was more than unacceptable to the Dems, it was immoral. That's what I noticed. I was stunned at this. That RAT B*****D didn't even apologize to the voters for betraying their trust-- he just talked about "The Party" just like a good little Stalinist.

"This one is going to extra innings." It pains me to disagree. Once the NJ Supremes (or is it Sopranos?) rule---it's over.
The media; including Gretta on Fox---is already referring to Looneyberg as "the dimmocrat candidate".
To: umgud
If Lautenberg doesn't do as well in the polls as the DNC would like.......can they replace him too before the election? No, but at age 78, he may die anyhow and then they can put Jon Bon Jovi on the ballot.
To: Howlin
I agree... if this happens it is very scary... Who is to say that anybody, even another Hitler, won't be able to do the same?
To: Howlin
I agree....I've been saying this all day on different threads....we just have to hope and pray that enough NJ voters are replused by this and vote for Forrester.
To: Travis McGee
Isn't it funny that the dimis are not concerned about a dead Senator from Hawaii. Since they feel it is okay to replace the torch, then it should be okay to name a replacement for patsy mink.

So now the Republicans can replace Forrestor with Tom Kean, or perhaps Christine Whitman? This is BS. Yes they could do this if the court so ruled.
What about Frank Sinatra Jr...I loved his appearances on "The Sopranos".

(I've been where you are...Sneaky just likes to argue.)

Bigger picture time, here. The Ethics Committee Dems had seen the memo, yet failed to act. Wow, the memo had some wicked stuff in it.
The Dems have just handed off the ethics issue back to the Pubbies (if in fact the Republicans ever lost it).
Regarding the memo, I would love to have a national Republican fugure start asking,
What did they know and when did they know it?
