He says the lady was putting pachkages in the trunk of her Toyota hatchback when the bulet, which does not appear to be from a high powered rifle, hit her in the lower back. Why don't I believe these guys? During yesterday's reports we waited forever for some sort of ballistic forensic info; and now these guys make a determination within two hours? My bs sensors have been alerted.

I agree. Notice they mentioned an exit wound. From long range that would rule out most handgun calibers.

However, I'm guessing they'd be able to tell what kind of round it was by the type of exit wound this woman suffered.
