He says the lady was putting pachkages in the trunk of her Toyota hatchback when the bulet, which does not appear to be from a high powered rifle, hit her in the lower back.

Why don't I believe these guys? During yesterday's reports we waited forever for some sort of ballistic forensic info; and now these guys make a determination within two hours? My bs sensors have been alerted.

I agree. Notice they mentioned an exit wound. From long range that would rule out most handgun calibers.

Mine, too, especially since there's now this report of a possible second shooting.

However, I'm guessing they'd be able to tell what kind of round it was by the type of exit wound this woman suffered.
