Marriage not miserable for women
Associated Press ^ | October 4, 2002

Why would marriage make women miserable? Everyone knows that if marriage is going to make someone miserable, that someone is going to be a MAN.

I think feminism makes women more miserable than marriage.

I've never known a man who was happier after a few years of marriage than he was when he was single. Never. Every married man I've ever known was definitely poorer. Maybe that's what the feminazis meant to say: Marriage makes womyn wealthier and men poorer. Yeah, I'm sure that's it.

Women make themselves miserable, and if you let them, they'll make you miserable too. That's why you have to be a man and take charge and TELL her that she isn't miserable. It sounds stupid, but it really works that way. Women think what you tell them to think. They feel what you TELL them to feel. But they have to beleive in you first. You have to be a MAN and act like one too.

Marriage not miserable for women

Maybe they are simply thinking of the time when they divorce him. Who knows what they are thinking?

What a bunch of bull!!! Marriage is as good as you make it. And don't kid yourself that marriage is 50-50. It's 100% on Your part. Whatever you put into it, you get back. Sometimes couples get married because they love the way the other person is. Then they get married and start to change them. After they change them, they don't like them anymore. Then they go looking for someone else that was just the way the other person was before they changed them. Go figure.

LOL! You're such a kidder! Nobody really thinks that way. My husband told me so, so it's obviously true.

So if you tell your wife to have an orgasm, she does?

No, of course not. She does that without me having to tell her.

I think there is some truth to that. Women seem more inclined then men to slip into the "poor, poor, pitiful me" mode. I think much of this is due to the fact that many women are pampered and sheltered during childhood, treated like "little princesses" and as a result, they grow up somewhat naive, expecting life to be some kind of fairy tale.

When both spouses get "down in the dumps," it is poison for the marriage. One of the spouses (usually the man, but not always) needs to project that positive can-do attitude and shake the other spouse out of the doldrums.

BTW, men can be whiners and complainers too and it is pathetic to see.
