Budundumula Robbers Torture Man’s Goats In Order To Attract His Attention
Budumbuli village in Bugembe, Jinja is rife with talk of thieves who battered a man and stole his money. The thugs lured him out of his house by squeezing the testicles of his goat tethered in the compound outside. The incident happened in the early hours of September 20.
In a statement to local authorities, Awali Muganza, a grain dealer said he was beaten into submission when he came out to check what had happened to his goats which were bleating incessantly in the middle of the night.
“I heard the goats bleating and thought they had been invaded by black ants. When I stepped out with my torch, I saw a masked man, squeezing the testicles of one of them.
Out of fear, I tried to run fast back into the house but one of them had already caught up with me,” he explained.
He added that attempts to make an alarm were fruitless as he was beaten, gagged and ordered to produce money, which the knife-wielding thieves knew he had been given to him earlier in the day by a grain dealer in Kampala.
With no option, he handed over sh500,000 to the thugs who sped off on a boda boda.
