I certainly don't know that Hoagland's right or a saint or his farts don't smell. Haven't been to his lectures. Only looked at a relatively small percentage of his pics.

Some of the pics do look very much like buried cities in the sand and nothing less or else. And some of the purported third party measurements of some of the anomolies seem a little bit tricky to explain away with a quick cursory dismissive swipe of the bias.

I do believe that something vs nothing is going on in roughly those directions.

There are those who insist that WE as in USA have bases on the moon and on Mars and have had for decades. I won't be shocked if I find it's true but that's stretching it a bit for me.

Regardless, about Hoagland, to me, the DISCOVERY PROJECT with soooo many high ranking, very experienced, very successful scientist military types coming forward with secreted away [i.e. stolen] evidence putting their lives and retirements on the line. . . I don't think you can rationally sweep away several dozen, much less several hundred such folk with such a blind, biased dismissive hand.

Sure, photos were touched up for publication. Still are. If something important is being airbrushed out, the scam will be over if anybody ever goes back to the site in person. No, I don't think NASA would be so shortsighted as to try to scam the public on this.

The reason we didn't continue going to the moon is that there is no water, or none known at that time. Now there is the possibility of some, not a lot of water, just a few gallons here and there around the pole.

With the Red Ghost and his Super Apes!

I heard PETSA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Super Apes) shut him down.

The Super Apes are now living in retirement in Nicaragua and the Red Ghost is living in Castro's basement.

Oh, it's anything but blind and only a little biased - that's why I listened to the guy's talk, among others. I'd recommend you do as well - knowing what you've evinced on this thread I suspect you'd come to the same conclusion I did - he's not even convincing.

Sub-Commander Card......DON'T advertise the "Agency".

I've been promoted, Thumper. As of Thursday last, I'm Oberkommando Card. And I'm pulling seniority on your ass.

...That the real Jupiter wasn't blown to smithereens by the comet and the phony one put up there under cover of darkness.

LOL....Good point. Perhaps the "Jupiter" we all see now is merely Jerrold Nadler...uh...moonlighting.

Hmmm.... A trillion here, a trillion there, pretty soon you're talking real money.

THAT sounds like a pretty strongly faith based conviction. You have faith that NASA wouldn't do such a dastardly thing because they are so nice or patriotic or lack such stupidity or some such.

I think such an assumption is far too much faith on far too little evidence.

NASA did bring us the Challenger, remember.

And the gov has been dastardly in a long list of ways as most anyone working for it very long in any serious role would probably attest.

Once CINCPAC last minute vetoed a seal team blowing up a French merchant ship in Hanoi? harbor to make it look like North Vietnamese to give us a pretext of bombing Hanoi. I'm sure the list is endless. Guess I don't have much faith at all that NASA would avoid sealing whatever the powers that be told them to.

You could certainly be right. Certainly SOME of the photos seem like seeing shapes in clouds. You might if you try hard enough.

Others? Welllll, some are rather curious.

And the fractal analysis thing was seemingly a good point to me. How does one explain away that computer analysis with fractals?

He is no fool who loses what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose

And what do you hope to gain by persisting? Prime real estate right smack in the center of Moon City?

My faint memory is that there were huge mother ships making menacing movements--at least a number of movements that the astronauts related were clearly menacing and a startlingly clear declaration that the moon was theirs.

Then there were supposedly communications between the ET'S and our government to the effect that we were not to return beyond the next one or two scheduled trips or some such.

These are not the sorts of things at that time long ago and far away when people logged names in. The astronauts were Apollo and some have hinted around and some have denied.

THESE THINGS should be in the record--perhaps at BLACK VAULT.

It has also been fascinating to me--as I expected, the quantity and quality of info leaking out has increased quite steadily. I don't know that it would be a straight line per se but it's been going up seemingly more and more steeply as the years have raced by.

Also, the numbers of high ranking people willing to go on record has increased geometrically--especially since DISCLOSURE project. That's one reason I could certainly imagine it being part of the gov plan as well. But Greer SEEMS so earnest and authentic. I sure hope he's being as straightforward as much as he appears.

Dude, there are a few indications a person is a tinfoil hatter:

If your personal web page is The Time Cube Site, you just might be tinfoil material.

I'd think anyone thinking clearly above the age of 12 would have guessed that Jupiter would be far too huge to be blown apart by the comet. I wonder if Hoagland had been reading too many of his own press releases too late at night with too little sleep generally.

You vastly overestimate the Federal Government's ability to keep anything secret. Everything comes out. Republican Administrations, Democratic, it don't make a damn's bit worth of difference. The bureaucrats are all primadonnas who like to see themselves quoted in the papers.

If anybody were even considering covering up hundred-billion dollar moon bases, alien civilizations, or anything of even the slightest public interest, we'd know about it pretty quick. As someone who worked for the government for many years, the total transparency was always one of my biggest frustrations. But then again, I didn't work with Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones in the Department of Alien Hunting. Maybe they're more competent...

And if you throw in the drug receipts as some contend, perhaps it's somewhat plausible. But that would take some pretty incredible security--possible but goodness--the doing of it.

Of course, some of the abduction stories assert exactly that. . . either such places or other dimensional places.

In Hoagland's mind, Jupiter's mass was completely irrelevant to the discussion. As I mentioned in my previous post, he invoked some "sacred geometry" - mystical bullsh/t - to account for the expected (by him) explosion. The only question here worthy of consideration is whether Hoagland is a genuine nut or merely a charlatan looking to make a few bucks off the gullible.

THIS WHOLE BALLPARK is complex enough--not to mention throwing in deliberate disinformation--I figure it would take a sharp collection of minds to filter the signal out from the noise--and what better place to find a bunch of sharp minds than FR. Alas, the skeptics derride the "tinfoilers" so much, a lot of the sharp minds just don't want to get into the fray--it's just not worth it to them.

I'm happy to do it privately via FREEP MAIL or any other mode. I just want to sort through it meaningfully with folk who are fair-minded, discerning, mildly skeptical but perhaps mildly believing as well or some of all the above.
