IF you have no respect for JANES DEFENSE WEEKLY publications, writers, sources--evidently your judgement is above that of the Joint Chief's of Staff and a lot of other leading military men around the globe.

I am curious, what level of evidence do you require before you consider adjusting your biases?

IS THERE any reasonable, fair way to notify persons on threads that can be construed to have a logical connection that would not push your spam button? Would a 1-3 line post qualify? I'm honestly asking, trying to live at peace with all men etc.

I would note, that you have no idea how many have contacted me supportively on FREEP mail but are not up to the withering assaults posting brings so automatically.

My button was pushed when someone wondered or noted that the Senate etc. as discussed in this thread was a farce, a charade--and they seemed to seriously mean that. It suddenly dawned on me that it was far truer than even I'd ever thought before. And one major reason is related to the post I was referencing. I felt the connection was exceedingly logical and reasonably inoffensive to post a reasonably short note about. Evidently a number of people are easily jangled or offended by stuff that's supposedly to them, not even true. Curious.

Not to jump into this, but what does this have to do with C-Span, and Senate discussion to back Bush or support Hussein?

Greer and at least some of his witnesses contend the coming war has been planned, scheduled from as long back as 1977--to be followed by increasing chaos from terrorism.

It seems to me that has something to do with this thread.

That is, if words and logic mean anything at all.

I'm still in favor of trouncing Saddam and I'm still a strong supporter of Bush.

I also happen to think I'm finite and flawed enough to need help sorting out the signal from the noise. However, it would take FAIR-MINDED folk to do it.
