Good description. She didn't endorse Bush by any stretch, but she treated him decently, which wasn't happening in much of the entertainment and news media.

Daschle was strong today. Of course he took a swipe at Bush, but Daschle is great to have on your side on an issue, which isn't all that often these days.

I saw that woman too--what an ignorant lady! Yeah, maybe Sadaam only commits these atrocities when there's a Bush in the White House. !?!?!?!

But I think Oprah's response to her was a good way of shooting her down and clarifying indirectly how idiotic her comment was. Plus the audience laughed- I think they knew the comment was stupid, too.

Yes, she did do a lot of good! My sister, the confirmed democrat who voted for Gore, was convinced by OPRAH! Nevermind two solid months of me talking, her listening to the President's speech, her son's pro-Bush opinion, and my other sister's support of the war. She was still not convinced.

The Oprah show was very powerful My sister made sure she told me all about it today, including the part about government sponsored rape. Oprah did a good thing with that show. God bless her!
