About 30 to 40 miles, but still not enough details yet know if this sniper related. I-270 area is close to the first shootings last week.

Drivers on I-270 Report Shots Fired, Police Investigate

(Rockville) -- Police are questioning a man about a possible shooting on Interstate-270.

Montgomery County police say a woman driving on 270 near Route 28 called and reported to police that someone had shot at her.

She told police the shooter may have been in a blue Dodge pickup truck.

Police have stopped a blue truck near Route 124 and are questioning the driver, but they are not calling him a suspect at this point.

Woman says she was shot at by a man driving a blue truck. The man driving the blue truck is in custody. I agree, sounds like road rage.

Thanks for posting the article. Sounds like a routine shooting incident, if that phraseology makes sense.

Correction . . . the police have --A-- man who was driving a blue truck. Could be somebody different from the alleged shooter.

Shots -- plural.

Doesn't sound like it fits the M.O.

Wife just called and said she was ticked at posters that are in too big of a rush to post without verifying the accuracy of their post.

I-270 traffic gets pretty crazy at rush hour, still no excuse for road roage.

Well of course not. But that would seem normal compared to what has been going on......

I would guess than very few road rage incidents also involve shooting. As to the
"stupidity" of shooting at people, shooting is deadly serious, and I am a bit reluctant to
apply that term to a shooter's mind-set. Evil-willed, yes; or self-defensive. But rarely is
a deliberate shooting a "stupid" act. If this person shot deliberately, at another person, it
is attempted homicide. And, in this circumstance, the shooting does not sound justified at
all.

Any chance your marriage can survive this?
