By your flimsy standard, Newtonian physics were also disproved, and now we have quantum mechanics.

Not quite. Newtonian physics is still accurate in its original context. Very little of what Darwin proposed is defensible in any context.

wouldn't there be millions upon millions of intermediate fossil forms?

Obviously not. I recommend picking up a good geology text.

Nonsense. If evolution were true all species would be in transition. If evolution were true practically every fossil should be an intermediate. That is why Darwin proposed that humans with the wrong brachyo-cephalic index were inferior, he had to show, even amongst the most recent creatures that they were in transition. Of course he was wrong about that just as he was wrong about almost everything he said. That is why evolutionists are ashamed of his work and almost never cite it.

Tell me then, where does oil come from?

Dinosaurs and other critters???? Show me, without using magic how it could be otherwise.

I only implied that the decay of plant material into oil need not take millions of years.

I think that the universe is about 13 Billion years old. You appear to think it is 6000 years old. I will reduce my estimate to 1 million years and that would mean that you should be able to make oil overnight.

I want a simply answer from you tonight.

Yes or No.

How convenient. I've discovered that if God isn't bigger than my brain, then He can't be God. It is fun though to examine how His Word supports the scientific bases of the reality we live in during this dispensation...

but not the entirety of his work to give it the full context.

Oh, I see, I should have posted the entire Descent of Man. Tell you what, you read that drivel and report back to us. However, if you want more juicy quotes from Darwin, I'll be glad to provide them.

As I pointed out the quote is central to his theory, it is not out of place. Besides, he took ten years to write the Descent, he had plenty of time to consider whether he wanted people to read those words.

As a Witch, I believe very strongly in magic.

Yes or No, is Evolution absolutly false and my belief in magic correct?

There is far more vegetable matter on earth than animal matter. Thus, I think it reasonable to assume most oil comes from decaying vegetation rather than animals.

However, it is a moot point. Billions of animals died in the flood. That is where oil came from.

I think that the universe is about 13 Billion years old. You appear to think it is 6000 years old. I will reduce my estimate to 1 million years and that would mean that you should be able to make oil overnight.

Non sequitor. I am not obliged to change my position simply because you changed yours.

Yes, every fossil is indeed an intermediate to whatever follows. As a matter of fact, we are also an intermediate species between whatever species preceded us and whatever species will succeed us. Pythagoras was wrong about a lot of things, his theory of geometric ratios appears valid nonetheless..

Billions of animals died in the flood.

And yet the Egyptians and Chinese not only survived aforesaid flood - they didn't even notice it. Amazing...

I suspect he's ignoring you because he finds your question to be loaded.

And it is. It is a false dilemma. Proving evolution to be false doesn't prove magic to be right. Of course, it doesn't prove Christianity either, and I suspect that is your whole point.

But it doesn't matter. Evolution is still false regardless of whether or not God exists or the Bible is true.

but gore3000 has declared that evolution depends on abiogenesis

Hey Dimensio, why don't you argue with what I posted? Why don't you refute the statements I have made? Why don't you post what you disagree with?

That's the way to have a discussion. Obviously you are unable to disprove my statement so you have to ignore the evidence for my conclusion.

You may also answer my basic question:

As a Witch, I believe very strongly in magic.

Yes or No, is Evolution absolutly false and my belief in magic correct?

Not quite. Newtonian physics is still accurate in its original context.

No, it is insufficient and incomplete. Newtonian physics was an accurate description of the universe to the extent that Newton knew it, which was nowhere near its full extent.

Look you. I am not going to describe the equines ability to evolve its immunity to suit its local infectious environment again. If you didn't get it the first time, I am sure glad your not a farrier.

Yes, every fossil is indeed an intermediate to whatever follows.

You are redefining terms. An intermediate form is an organism somewhere between one species and the next higher species. The differences between the rungs on the evolutionary ladder are immense; the gaps between them are so great as to call into question whether or not there is any connection at all between them.

Your favorite out of context quote I might add.

Nope, it is not out of context. It shows how he concludes that the eye evolved. It is charlatanism at its finest. He admits he has no evidence. He wants people to make a leap of faith. Sorry, that's not science.

But the horse is not changing species. It is still a horse before and after its immmune system adapts.

By your flimsy standard, Newtonian physics were also disproved, and now we have quantum mechanics. Despite that fact, we have retained those elements of Newtonian physics to the extent and in the cases where they apply. Moreover, we never would've had quantum mechanics had we not first had thermodynamics, universal gravitation, and differential calculus.

Aaah but there's a difference. As you so well point out, Newtonian physics has been very fruitful in enlarging our knowledge. However, evolution has always led us onto the wrong path. Spontaneous generatio, inferior races, melding of traits, junk DNA, and much more. So evolution has been disproven much more than once and has led to wasteful research and hindering of research more than once. Like I said, it's time to be done with it before it does any more harm.
