Finally heard from my BIL this afternoon. He lives in Singapore and has a home in the area of the attacks so we were concerned. He said the area is totally shut down right now. For years before we had our terrorist attacks he had been telling us how vicious these Islamics are, and how they intend to take over the world for Islam. It never hit home with me until 911.

Really don't know who to report it to...don't have enough info...to give them a start...I will email the FBI.

I understand, but to capture a fireball one would have to have a camera trained on the area at the moment it exploded.

Get rope. Dip rope in pigfat. Hang rope from tree. Hang Jehadis. Repeat process as long as necessary. (Or use Guillotine w/blade dipped in pigfat)

It's a catch 22 situation because once barriers have been established against the practice of the muslim tradition, they will call jihad against that nation (this is the condition for violent jihad).
"Peaceful" Islam may or may not be the Trojan Horse for radical Islam but the radicals certainly use it as such. They play off of our good nature to permit freedom of relgion (actions that do not violate established law: murder, child rape, animal sacrifice/torture, drug use, etc.). Look at Islamic nations and you will not find such tolerance for other faiths; even nations that seemingly coexist with other faiths do not permit muslims to convert away from Islam.

The only ingredient that's missing in this World War is that the animals are killing civilized people en masse while the civilized people of the world debate whether or not the animals should be exterminated. We'll know the war has begun when an Arab in America feels about as safe as an American would on the streets of Jakarta or Baghdad.
Let it be world war.

From what I see in the news, It would appear that most Americans are still in denial. Americans still seem to think that Islam is a religion. President Bush himself said that "Islam is a religion of peace (tm)"
Im sorry to say, but I honestly dont think that the Western countries can ever defeat this menace. Westerners just don't have the gaul for what is really required.

But this will happen only after another 911 where millions are left shredded, dismembered and vaporized.
The sooner islam is eliminated the better!

You are exactly correct sir.
Christians are killed for practicing their religion in many Muslim countries. Apostasy for Muslims is punishable by death.
Muslims take advantage of the West and they get away with it.

You've given me an idea, AV.
From now on I'm carrying my digital camera everywhere I go.
If we can get pictures, the authorities can get the license plates and possibly the passengers in the vehicles.
I don't trust these ragheads any further than I can spit, and, you're right - it will happen again!

Just my guess, but from the large number of propane tanks there would be for cooking in a restaurant/nite club area like this, I would believe that there were many secondary fireballs following the explosion.
I will be getting on a plane to Bangkok about this time tomarrow and will stay in Siam Square (Novotel). There is a lot of concrete there but it is a rabbit warren of clubs, shops and restraunts with crowds (60% Thai Chulalonkorn U. students and 40% tourists). Then there are the "sex tourist" places with heavy concentrations of tourists. A lot of cities have these target areas. Puket and Pattaya in Thailand could be a similar target for Muslims. I have a sad feeling that this is far from over. There are a lot of "leaders" with heads burried in the sand worldwide.

You are assuming there was ONLY one fireball...may not be a good assumption...
I'll have to bore you with my slide shows on my 1999 vacation to Bali and Sulawesi...

"President Bush himself said that "Islam is a religion of peace (tm)"' I've heard this several times, and what I'd like to know is:
What in the hell did you expect him to say - "Kill the Muslims!!"?
Good grief!

Islam has served notice to the entire world ,and especially to the Western World and Christianity that they're not fit to live among civilized people. Do away with them! The sooner the better. The problem is that civilized people aren't real good at exterminating entire civilizations. It's in our nature to wait until they're close enough to kill us before we'll really do anything about it.
I can't image the horror the West will have to endure before we bring ourselves to do what's necessary.

I hadn't thought about Pattaya Beach, Jim!
It's about as close to Bali as you can find in SouthEast Asia.
If I were there, I'd leave!

Thatched roofs...closeness of the buildings...and you are right they use propane...no infrastructure there for natural gas...electrical appliances do not exist as we know them...hell on the way to UBUD...in the evening we saw people had candles as source of evening lights and they cook over coconut hulls. ANY diaster in Bali would be compounded by the lack of civil services we take for granted.
Damn shame...Bali was a beautiful destination and I had the greatest vacation memories there...damn shame.

What in the hell did you expect him to say - "Kill the Muslims!!"?People really need to get off GWB's case about this. He said what he had to say. If you really think the President believes that Islam represents peace, you don't understand the man even a little bit.
Consider the consequences of him saying anything but what he's said. Look no further than the reaction to Falwell's recent remarks (all 100% truthful) for an example.
Now magnify that reaction x1000. That's what happens if Bush speaks the truth about Islam.
