There was one on the exchange of food and small niceties in group homes in Wisconsin last week. Don't remember the title, but Brit Hume carried it on "Below the Fold".

My niece's husband voted at a precinct on the east side of Detroit and he said he had to wait in line for over 2 hours. Being that this was a predominately black area, he said there were busses of old folks being let out to vote.

Now, you and I know that there is a law which says no one may distribute political literature withing 100 feet from a polling facility. Seth said that after he entered the building, he was given a pamphlet which was identical to to the butterfly ballots, i.e., all he had to do was set the pamphlet on top of the voting machine and it matched up exactly to the existing candidates. The pamphlet told specifically who to vote for and not and actually included their pictures.

For what it's worth, the literature and transportation was provided by the U.A.W. How do I know? I mentioned this to my plant's U.A.W. benefits rep. and he said that this is common practice at election time..............

With this type of electioneering going on in the major pockets of socialism here in Michigan, (Detroit, Flint, Bay City and Saginaw) Al Gore was able to garner the electoral votes. For the most part, Michigan is a conservative state made up of hunters and farmers but unless the Republicans can get each and every member out to vote, the socialists will win this state.....
