Its kind of amusing. During the Clinton's Kosovo fiasco (which is only a prelude to the coming Iraq fiasco) freepers loved Hackworth. Now....when he dares to oppose George Bush's war, they hate him. Go figure.

I don't know much about the guy but he seems to have done his duty above and beyond the call. To say I am impressed is an understatement.

all right, all right, I was premature.

I like Hack too, haven't seen him on tv talking about this. but even soldiers like him are allowed political opinions. I haven't read Hack's books, but I know he distinguished himself big-time in vietnam. That earns my ever-lasting respect. If he talks like Scott Ritter on this issue, then I'll just shake my head, but not 1 word of criticism of that person for me.
