local news is citing CBS and AP saying a witness or witnesses saw the shooter exit vehicle and take the shot

sp, it would seem that in Virginia, where the citizens are free to bear arms, that with so many witnesses there ought to have been a chance of one of them carrying and able to either shoot the murderer or shoot out his tires! We all need to be armed and trained and on our toes. That is the only way to save lives in a case like this. I am very much afraid that with more 'gun control' legislation more of this sort of sniper crime will be taking place. When guns are outlawed only outlaws and law enforcement will have guns. There will always be outlaws; there will never be enough law enforcement to protect every indiviual.

xs, I am so sorry for the situation you are in. I had no idea (it never occurred to me) that you are in that area. I have been praying fervently from the first reports of this terrible maniac. I have added you to my list. LOLuv.

If this guy gets taken out by an armed citizen it would be too much for the liberals to bear. They're already privately fuming that this guy has taken the economy away as an election issue, while they shed a fake tear for the cameras.

It is not law enforcement's job to 'protect every individual'. Their job is to investigate crime and gather evidence for the prosecution of the case.

The sooner more people understand this, the better. Pass the word.
