David Boies and Warren Christopher were last seen jetting to Baghdad to file suit on behalf of "disenfranchised" voters who called Washington from Basra Beach County, Iraq. It appears that there is a butterfly ballot involved.
Meanwhile, Saddam Hussein, in his press conference, blamed former Florida Secretary of State Katharine Harris for the mixup and demanded that "all the voters be killed, er, ...all the votes be counted! Allah be praised!"
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Is Jimmy Carter over there campaigning for his buddy Saddam? Or did they send Carville, instead?

From NRO's
The Corner:
LOOK WHO'S WRITING [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
Robert Alt e-mails: In a shocking turn of events, .01% of the vote today in Iraq appears to have been cast for a candidate other than Hussein. Saddam's lawyers (and executioners) are on the scene, blaming the opposition vote on the confusing butterfly ballot, which they say caused voters to inadvertently select Pat Buchanan. Local election officials say the use of a butterfly ballot was necessary to fit in all the referenda, including Resolution 1006: Resolved, The United States really is the Great Satan.

"Dan, I'm here in Basra, speaking with voters as they exit the polls. There seems to be widespread, deep-rooted support for Saddam. Reminds me of the support for Al Gore in Florida."
To: cmsgop
There are two options at the polls. Get in one line to vote for Saddam, or the other to await beheading. If you chose the latter, the upside is that there isn't much of a wait.
