North Korea Admits Nuclear Weapons Program
Fox News | 10/16/02 | Brytani

Breaking News on Fox

Fox has just confirmed North Korea has admitted to the United States that they have a secret nuclear weapons program. This breaks a treaty signed with the Clinton Administration, in exchange for N. Korea not having nuclear weapons, the US agreed to build non-lethal nuclear plants for them.

Once again, Clinton's treaties turn out to be worth as much as his word.

N. Korea to USA: piss on you

Notice how the libs are shocked that NK ignored this "treaty". Libs are truly children in adult bodies.

Clinton and his team should be called before the Senate Foreign Relations and Intelligence Committees at once. They should in fact be arrested.

And that 'team' should include Nobel 'Peace' Prize winner Jimmy Carter.

Bush's 'axis of evil' talk got North Korea's attention, Powell says

AP ^ | 2-22-02

BEIJING (AP) -- President Bush softened his "axis of evil" rhetoric in Asia, but his strong words already had gotten North Korea's attention, Secretary of State Colin Powell said Friday. Indeed, North Korea shot back that Bush was "a politically backward child." North Korea issued its angry response as Bush flew back to Washington from a six-day journey to China, South Korea and Japan where his "axis of evil" comment stirred unease or outright opposition.

Former President Carter also criticized Bush's language. "I think it will take years before we can repair the damage done by that statement," Carter said. He called the statement "overly simplistic and counterproductive."

Powell said Bush's remark had had the desired effect. "I'm sure their (the North Koreans') mind is a little more focused than it was a few weeks ago," Powell said on Air Force One, accompanying Bush. .... ...."

I>Personally, I think North Korea is as much or bigger a threat than Iraq. Last I remember, NK has long range missile cababilites.

Long range missles and nukes, all courtesy of our "friends" in China. GW announce that an attack by NK against the USA and its allies will result in the vaporization of NK and the annihilation of China.

I really don't despise third party voters. I apologize for that statement. There are some third party canidates I've liked, just knew they didn't stand a chance right now. With democrats willing to lie, cheat, steal, and KILL to "win" elections, we must combat those people anyway we can. Voting third party has meant getting more democrats in office, more often than not.

I would write a pissy and somewhat sarcastic letter right now to the 39th President of the United States c/o the Carter Center in Georgia, demanding he IMMEDIATELY return his Nobel Award to the committee for the recognition of existence of Nuclear Weapons Program in North Korea which was allowed to flourish because he went to Pyongyang to 'defuse' things for the Clinton Administration.

"Urinun Jidae Pyonghwa! Wareware no Jidai ni Heiwa! Peace in our Time!"

What is the Carter Center addresss? (/sarc but half not-kidding)

Wasn't that deal brokered by Jimmy Carter...our proud Peace Prize winner?

Carter = fool

Carter's and Clinton's legacies are becoming more clear for history.

History was made when George W. Bush identified (during his State of the Union speech) those who represented the "Axis of Evil" . The liberals can scoff at this remark all they want, But it was SPOT ON

Oh, nice catch! I've copied that little Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists screed - gonna have me some fun tomorrow.

I think the left is, generally speaking, locked into one response. Tomorrow will tell if my guess is correct, but here it is: they'll take the position that sure, North Korea has nukes, and (contradicting their earlier position) sure, Saddam has them or nearly so. And there we go beating up on Saddam and not on North Korea. Unfair! Unfair!!

Of course, they'll know as they say it that Bush can call their bluff and reply "OK, you're right, I guess we'll have to intervene there too." The left knows this as well. Their bet will have to be that Bush can't or won't do so, and at the moment that looks like a losing hand.

What will we do? I'm guessing here, too, but it looks like (1) we will intervene in Iraq and we will succeed, and (2) if we do North Korea will do its very best to set a nuke off somewhere to change the rules, otherwise (3) we'll isolate North Korea internationally, attempt to cripple its delivery capacity, and intervene at leisure as we did in Iraq.

[BtD puts away his crystal ball and crosses every digit he possesses...] Of course, it could just as easily turn to poop. And that would be a very, very bad thing.

The fear, IMHO, is that a nuke goes off in America and is blamed to ME terrorists, when in fact, it is of Asian origin. This is why we need to dismantle communists with nukes.

S. Korea angry. S. Kor. Govt. spokesman just now issues comments. Says NPT must be adhered to. N. Korea development of nukes unnaceptable.

Also, says White House spokesman calls this a serious violation. Also says another US gov. spokesman calls this a grave violation of both the NPT agreement AND IAEA Safeguards protocols on nuke development. Said all peace loving nations will line up in alliance with the United States on this issue.... (Yomiuri, breaking, in Japanese).
