It also answers an artilce that I recently read concerning two lefts. One left is simply stupid and truely believes with childlike innocence that they truely can solve the problems with the world with their tired old ideas. The other left is more satanic in nature and knows full well that the shit they spew is exactly that. The stupid left vastly outnumbers the satanic left but being incompetent, they are unable to recognize that they are being duped.

This is why you find more liberals in the social "sciences", law, arts and politics where everything is subjective. Other activities like engineering, physics, sciences, buisness, trades, fishing, logging, etc all educated even the unwilling, that there are things called reality and they are not subject to special pleadings, time outs, etc.

I have always noticed that if you run into someone who proudly touts that they have a PhD, but is unwilling to disclose the discipline, is probably a liberal who got the degree in English, Sociology or Comparative Literature to compensate that nasty inkling that they have a defective brain.

There are probably very few true liberals in my neck of the woods (western Wisconsin), but there are a lot of Democrats who hate Republicans. This despite the fact that most of the Dems I know are virtually indistinguishable from the Republicans in behavior and societal views. Most of these Dems are single-issue or opportunisic Dems like my brother-in-law who is a public school teacher, hates Republicans, but is to the right of Genghis Khan on many social issues.

Do not minimize abortion rights as a reason for women voting for Dems. Many Dem-voting women are single-minded on abortion to the exclusion of all other issues. When I asked my three sisters and my girl friend why they were voting Dem, the first thing they all mentioned was abortion rights for teens. There are the opportunistic Dems and there are the ignorant Dems and many times combinations of both. Don't underestimate ignorance.

No, I didn't just realize it. Whenever I have had a conversation with anyone from the left I have always walked away wondering what the F*%# was wrong with them. This is just the first time that I have seen a rational explanation for why they are so irrational. You know what the sad part is??
