The Dark Soul of Feminism: Profound Contempt For Life
October 21, 2002
by Gerald L. Rowles, Ph.D.
Among a group of articles illustrating the dark soul of feminism was this from the Boston Globe, written by Cindy Rodriguez and entitled A decade later, 'Murphy Brown' examples on rise. Karen Gratiano did the bar scene, wine-tastings, fix-ups, blind dates, even Internet dating. But after a series of failed relationships, and going through dozens of "toads," Gratiano found herself alone at 35. Marriage could wait, she thought. But having children couldn't. That biological clock was ticking.
So last year, Gratiano bought donor sperm, paid an epidemiologist to inject it into her uterus, and got pregnant. Now, at age 36, she says she has everything she's ever wanted: great job, six-figure salary, her own house, wonderful friends, a supportive family - and now a 61/2-month-old daughter, Stephanie, to complete her life.
Ten years after Vice President Dan Quayle castigated the TV sitcom character Murphy Brown for having a child out of wedlock, single motherhood among 30-something professionals has lost much of its social stigma.
What's more, says Ms Rodriguez, the "anonymously donated sperm" only cost Karen $150 a pop.
Dang, that's less than it costs to adopt a Bengal housecat or a Jack Russell terrier. The promiscuous (?) Gratiano doesn't even have to kiss a "toad" in the process. And she's the princess?

Don't worry, some man will. Just give Karen a little more time to reel in that big fish.

It's hard to figure liberals out: Are they selfish, stupid, or just blinded by their ideology? (At least in the last case they have an opportunity to learn, if either of the first two cases doesn't intervene.)

Continued ...from the excerpt:
..."The catalog of human carnage due to fatherlessness is well known and too lengthy to review here. Suffice it to say, however, that the feminist contempt for the lives of the donor sperm children is palpably evident in the writer's celebration of this latter day Murphy Brown.
One cannot look past the anonymous $150-a-pop sperm deposits without comment on the depositors. Any man who would make such a gratuitous deposit is no less despicable than the contemptuous donee. End of comment.
So you think that feminism is either dead or mortally wounded? You are sadly misinformed, unconscious, or delusional. The debased soul of feminism continues to cast a dark shadow across the landscape of culture, corrupting the collective soul.
We will only know that feminism is dead when abortion and elective illegitimacy, the only true "choice"s that it dictates, are no longer condoned."
Real men call a spade a spade!!

This is not "feminism" by a long shot.
I'm a feminist and I'm pro-Life and totally against anonymous pro-creation (either egg or sperm donation). The man who donated the sperm is equally at fault for participating in an anonymous procreation. He is equally callous toward the child co-created with his sperm. Both parties, IMO, are selfish and less than caring of the intersests of the child.

"...What's more, says Ms Rodriguez, the "anonymously donated sperm" only cost Karen $150 a pop..." She could have gotten the desired result for half that by riding around in a cab with the window down and her ass hanging out. Just tell the cabby to stop anytime he sees a crowd of street punks gathered.
Hell, she could have made money while she was getting the desired result.
I hope she doesn't earn that 'six figure salary' advising others of matters of finance or efficiency...

In the UK, courts have begun opening up records in sperm banks to discover the identity of the biological father and order the payment of child support.

You are not a feminist.

Any man who would make such a gratuitous deposit is no less despicable than the contemptuous donee. Once upon a time, a sperm donor could have thought that he was making a donation to help an infertile couple to add parenthood to their relationship. Now, men have to consider who might be buying their 'donation' on the open market.

The CSE industry doesn't really care whether the man who's money is being taken by force is actually the father or not.

Apparently, the service has been extended to women who are psychologically unfit to parent.

"Recently a woman at day care looked at Stephanie and said, 'Oh, she looks just like you'. . . That's because, unknown to Karen, the sperm donar was her brother.

A man who waved to a woman from a mile away...and never got closer than that...can be sued for child support. And feminists would call it "sexist" for anyone to suggest that the man had rights, because that would mean questioning the worldview of the woman. Under feminism, "father" means whoever a woman with children wants money from.
Of course, feminism is insane.

Yes, trying to get them to stop forcing men who have proven they're not the father to pay child support is one of the current battle fronts.

The Women's Liberation Movement has devolved into a middle class power and money structure intent on satisfying its own urges at the expense of... well, anyone who stands in the way. Feminism at it is configured today exploits human reproduction - coming and going! - and treats children as so much merchandise. I'm frankly surprised that this woman took the time to bear her own child, what with the risks ro her own health and the consequences for her own figure. Still, $150.00 is cheaper than paying up to $150,000.00 for a premium white infant on the adoption market. Ah, the tradeoffs of modern life...
