It will require a definite 'lead, follow, or get out of the way' 'can do' attitude from a revised and revamped INS with a mandate from the people upon our President, but cleaning up our system CAN be done. I am not a defeatist in this regard.

Also if you don't know for a fact that the mother is now legal don't intimate that she is, because then you begin to sound like our democratic senators. Oh please! I get on here to defend legal immigration quite often. But this is a clear case of illegal imigration. You are making quite a leap from the mother not being deportee to her being here legally. I would rather ask how someone admits to arriving with a boatload of illegals and remains outside deportation proceedings?

This is all a perfect example of how illegal immigration in all forms leads to increased risk from terrorism linked to Jihadist organizations and goals. The LAX shooter, the Bosnian bus slasher, and other supporters of terror are often here illegaly. This is a clear case of if the INS had done their job, several good innocent hard working people with families and kids would be alive now. If I were family of a victim, I would want to know who dropped the ball on this case.
