They snuffed it out in public buildings. They discouraged it in the workplace.

Now health advocates concerned about secondhand smoke want to extinguish smoking in Mary Abraham's favorite Jacksonville sports bar and similar establishments statewide. Abraham says it won't stop there.

The anti-smoking zealots believe they can get away with saying or doing anything if the subject is smoking. This proves they can't if we remain vigilant.

No traction on this one, eh?

My older sisters, my father and four of my neices and nephews live in Floriduh and I've been beating my gums at 'em about this for months now.

One of my nephews is so STUPID that even though he's been leading a statewide effort to legalize weed down there, I think he's going to vote for Amendment 6.

Talk about cognitive dissonance.

No traction on this one, is right.

I think Canada is doing the same, metesky: banning tobacco yet legalizing pot. Go figure.

Having admitted a mistake, one wonders why they feel the need to keep using those false numbers.

Isn't it the truth, Great Dane! The anti's better start coming up with something of substance. This isn't going to fly anymore. And more and more restaurants across the US (I wish Canada had had this chance), saw what is happening, and that it's really immoral (?) to dictate to a privately owned business how they have to run it.

The anti's don't want to be around smoking? GO DOWN THE FRICKEN STREET!
