Ventura is not a "Democrat" by registration or stated affiliation. However, his very liberal social policy views are "my way or the highway," much the viewpoint of the modern-day "democracy." Ventura's alleged "economic conservatism" is more rhetoric than reality. Ventura is one of the most obnoxious politicians that I have ever seen -- he makes EMK seem almost human, rascal that he is.

i think the real information here is that a higher power is working to give the republicans an edge in the midterm elections, and no matter what the factions of satan do, ie. withdrawal from the ticket and break laws, a higher law will be served....

mho, of course.

I suggest the Democrats give some thought to Robert Toricelli. He's currently between convictions ... er, I mean, engagements (but act fast!). He's a piece of liberal Democrat slime, same as Wellstone. And the fact that he knows nothing about Minnesota politics shouldn't mean much. It didn't seem to matter to Hillary Clinton in New York!

The Democrats will have no choice but to accept Republican control of the Senate... Begin landing your troops.

Coleman will lose to the corpse on Election Day, and Massive Democratic Vote Fraud ® will ensure the victory of Roger Moe, the Rat candidate for Governor.

Actually another corpse will probably be selected as the Demmycrat replacement---Fritz Mondull. And that means all absentee ballots already cast with Wellstone's name on it can't count for Mondull. Also it is logistically impossible for the replacement absentee ballots from being sent out and returned on time.

Minnessotta law states that a deceased individual cannot be on the ballot however they will replace him and there will be a huge sympathy vote for the Rats.

Not enough to overcome all those absentee ballots already cast. The Coleman ballots will count. The Wellstone ballots won't.

Hatch said, adding that next Thursday would be the last day the party could pick a new candidate and still be able to get his or her name on absentee ballots that will be mailed to voters who can’t get to the polls. Hatch also said if the Minnesota Democratic Party simply does nothing, Wellstone still cannot be elected posthumously.

The problem for the Demmycrats is that a lot of those absentee ballots have already been mailed back. Plus if you send out new absentee ballots that opens up a whole new can of worms as far a voter fraud again since a lot of folks could easily cast their votes TWICE.
