Frankly, I think all people of substance are pro-Palestinian in the sense of wanting the bloodshed to stop -- we'd just disagree with them on whether having terrorists in charge of the West Bank and killing innocent Israelis is going to achieve that goal. Roger that!

Go DC chapter!!!
Can you, or someone, put together a brief synopsis of what went on at this event? 800+ posts (and some flame wars) is a lot to wade through, but it looks like a GREAT DAY for freeperdom.
To: hellinahandcart
Ok, so I went and waded through the thread, well worth doing ---- WOW!WOW!WOW!, what a day that must have been. Saddam must be removed and this is just more proof.
To: hole_n_one
Hey, that's me!!! I kept my football jersey on since we are the only team that put American flags on our jerseys!

Excerpt from today's
Washington Times
Police said a counter-demonstration at the corner of 17th Street and Constitution Avenue NW was so small that it presented no threat to the peaceful nature of the day. The counter-demonstration included a contingent of about two dozen Iraqi-Americans, many of whom wore white turbans and long robes. The group was organized by leaders of various Islamic community centers, which included the Annandale, Va.-based Iraqi-American Council. They banged drums and held signs bearing messages such as "Save the World From Saddam's Mass-Destruction Weapon."
The anti-war demonstrators "have no idea about what Saddam does," said Said Al-Waly, who came to the United States in 1998 as a refugee from Iraq. "There are people suffering because of Saddam's regime. We want democracy and human rights in Iraq."
Hassan Al-Harery, an imam representing the Karbala Islamic Center in Detroit, spoke through a translator to say, "If the world does not stop Saddam now, it will be too late later on." Continue

Kristinn - I started watching it at 8:20 p.m. Calif. time. I had been busy all day and unable to go to FR for details. Oh, my Goodness!!!!! When it was over, I just sat there stunned and speechless. It was absolutely spectacular! I am so impressed with how you handled yourself. FReeper, pal, you really need to run for office. Words can't convey what I want to say. I just wanted you to know that I thank you from the bottom of my heart for yesterday. I am soooo proud to be a FReeper! For victory & freedom!!!
To: Saundra Duffy; kristinn
I agree. Kristinn you did a great job! You and the entire D.C. Chapter!! Way to go!!

Death, Death ....to Saddam; People Yes, Saddam No; He's a fascist, he must goGreat chant!
To: sauropod
It took a major criticism of the Left and destroyed it The left was utterly destroyed yesterday. I kept thinking of Susan Saranwrap's speech. If she watched the FR rally, she has got to feel like the fool she is. Way to go, DC FReepers! For victory & freedom!!!
To: RobFromGa
Yeah, a synopsis just wouldn't have cut it. You really kind of have to be in "you were there" mode to really appreciate it.
I've never had so much fun on a thread, and I haven't been up that late at night on one since the Election Nightmare of 2000. This was much much more satisfying. Warm and fuzzy and all that. :D
To: Jimmy Valentine's brother
Excellent visual in your example, and, by the way, you're no slacker either. Thanks for your work at yesterday's rally. Another excellent DC Freeper production.
I wanted to be there in the worst way, but had two teeth removed Friday. One's a wisdom tooth--I'm feeling stupider already;)

Having dental work is such a bummer. The sadists!
To: Ligeia; FreeTheHostages
You don't know HOW excited we were about seeing you all on C-Span, and you have no idea how BUMMED we were to have the time keep changing and finally have to settle on a late-night viewing. I mean, we were waiting all day! That's how I had the ping list ready to go by 11:00.
Now I want to see a thread with on-the-scene stories and freeper PICTURES, when is that going to happen?
To: kristinn
Keep fighting the good fight-- America owes you and the rest of the DC Freepers a debt of gratitude for your tireless service to the cause of Freedom.
Eagles Up! RobFromGa

I am just now getting moving to the point that I can start downloading pix to my computer; then I still have to wade through 300+ of them that I took, to pick out the best to share with y'all!
I'll give y'all a little teaser, to keep your attention:
Somebody pointed out that "Great American", and all-around example of the left's love of everyone, Malik Shabazz - the leader of the New Black Panthers, was walking through our rally (with his black clad ninja entourage)... I ran alongside him and got some great (I hope) shots of his tolerant face as he's asked repeatedly, "Malik! Why do you hate white people?"
To: Saundra Duffy
What really hurts is what I had named the two teeth. Yep, "Victory" and "Freedom"! Hated to lose those two guys.
And thanks for all of your good work on the Left Coast, especially against slimebucket Condit. For victory and freedom(and the rest of my teeth!).

Excellent job, kristinn. You are very well-spoken. I agree; and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the Iraqi people state so strongly the atrocities of Saddam and their desire for the U.S. to free the people of him. Great rally. I was also shocked at the leftwingers' blatant hypocrisy (they who "want every voice heard, every vote to count").
To: tgslTakoma
Oh man, sounds great. Please give a holler when they're up.
To: kristinn
Just finished scrolling through the whole Thread. It appears I went to bed too early last night.
Kristinn, for all you do this Buds for you. I'll be the first to throw $20 into the cyber-pot. The checks in the mail.
