Can you believe the snipers were actually lurking in the background, and at one time their blue chevy even getting caught on news footage, of that fiasco of the white van with the two mexican immigrants? This is chilling and absolutely outrageous .....

Moose didn't emphasize the Caprice driving away from the Oct 3 murder slowly with the lights off because: "There's been more law enforcement focus on that; not a big push for public feedback about that," he said Oct. 13 on national TV

That may be have been an outright lie from what the police have been saying though. From what I hear, they weren't told internally by Moose's team there was supposed to be a law enforcement focus on the Caprice. I think D.C. Chief Ramsey told his guys to keep looking for the Caprice though.

Hindsight IS great, it reveals patterns, including patterns of blatant racism.

I would be looking for the plate number that was by then previously seen, noted and recorded about 6 previous times.  I wonder what the odds are on THAT lil' ol' block of evidence???

They didn't find a gun in the van did they. Someone at the scene should have noted that and checked the area looking for someone suspicious. The MD task force people dropped the eyewitness account of the blue caprice. The other cops shouldn't have. They should have come to the conclution that there were a million white vans and they all had been looked at a gazillion times.

This was a public phone booth. It should have clicked in someone's mind at the scene that their was no gun, the detainees didn't know what was going on and that the perps were probably watching from somewhere nearby. They missed a ghetto rocket with NJ plates and a couple of funny holes in the trunk lid there. Out of all those cops, none of them noticed it.

The police were far too busy playing commando to have any idea what was going on around them. It took a couple of alert truck drivers to catch these Islamic murderers.

Plenty of people here on FR had the foresight to recognize the killer wasn't a white guy in a white truck. And it's true: Some people only have hindsight. But the people I really feel sorry for have neither.

If the priest and later the cops were told of the murder in Alabama by the sniper and they had the fingerprint off the magazine to identify the guy, why didn't they use the fingerprint before to catch the guy for the single murder?

I've never heard of an IQ test being used. I do know that the chiefs are chosen by the politicians and in the big cities they are leftists. The dept's mindset is mostly a reflection of the chief.

No, hindsight points NOW to someone other than the usual profile of a serial killer.

At the time, law enforcement was going with what the previous profiles had been, 95% of the time.

I told my wife early on that the sniper is a Muslim. I also told her that they were waiting until a white vehicle came on the scene to commit the crime. When you consider the number of white vehicles, they would not have to wait that long. The reason I thought this is because nobody could agree on the style of vehicle--van, truck, etc.
